The limestone and brick structure has four floors of rooms that all face the center of the building—each opening to the floor below to add light to the interior as well as an airy and open atrium. This Hotel was so nice 10 years ago. I myself have stayed here along with countless peers from my company. My recent stay was disappointing to say the least. They refuse to service occupied rooms using the “Covid” excuse. They replaced the in-room Kuriug coffee with a cheap replacement and the mattress was worn and uncomfortable. I will stay in Peoria and commute going forward. It’s sad that the Harvester has decayed so badly.

Stay here Very nice staff Deb and Kim are very nice. I really enjoyed staying here Very good breakfast and very good cookies They have a office for work. And they have a gym. Stay here if you can and if your in canton.

Very good breakfast and nice employees stay here. They let me play with a speaker and scare the crap out of people and it was fun definitely stay here if you have a chance and if your in canton stay here.

This little hidden gem of a Hotel is an awesome hotel. I travel 100% and this one is spacious and clean,comfortable and quiet! The staff is awesome and friendly. Simply had a great extended stay while in town installing equipment in their Fire Station. Would like to have this hotel in every location I go.

Although the accommodations are great with large rooms and well kept, the staff was using COVID as an excuse to not be accommodating. We were in Canton to bury my Father. We booked 9 rooms and had 25 people various nights last week costing well over $3,000. The breakfast area had been reduced to 5 tables to seat 20 people which was in compliance with Illinois restrictions. However after breakfast they would not allow us to use the room to gather claiming COVID rules. Mind you Illinois is in Phase 4 of restoration of COVID restrictions which allows gathering of 50 or less people for any reason. We even offered to sanitize the room ourselves. They also have conference rooms in the lower level that they won’t let us use again claiming COVID. If you know Canton, not a lot of restaurants to chose from. I had to beg the Supervisor to let us use the room after the funeral and she did as long as we didn’t have more than 20 adults and no one who wasn’t staying at hotel. I had arranged this a couple days before the funeral. After the funeral the clerk on duty told me we couldn’t use it as it had already been sterilized for breakfast the next day. I told her that I had arranged that with Teri. Eventually we were allowed to use the room, but they certainly made a very sad time even harder than it needed to be.…

Stayed here as a couple on a Friday night. The boutique hotel is only 8 years old, and the facilities are in excellent condition. The rooms are spacious with 2 king beds a huge bathroom. Staff was extraordinarily cordial. For those with electric vehicles, there is a Tesla destination cxharger and a regular 220V EV charger, the only hotel in the area with these.

Stayed at this hotel several times and it never disappoints. Super clean....big room and bathroom....super staff, and a good breakfast. The historical paintings in the public areas, and hallways are a must see for anyone that lived in the Canton area. There are cheaper options, but nothing this nice for the money anywhere in Illinois. Staying here and a trip to Monical's Pizza makes it the best visit possible.

Spent a day in Canton working with a client. This hotel is comfortable- has a nice breakfast selection and the meeting room was more than I expected. Well setup - clean and quiet. The internet worked well without interruption.

We were in town visiting friends and decided to stay at this porperty. It was a very good decision. The room was great, as was the staff. The complimentary breakfast was awesome. Loved the old Canton history pictures hung on all the walls. Canton needed a place like this, and they hit a home run!!!

From planning stages to check-out, this location was excellent. Initially, I wanted to hold the weekend training in Peoria, thinking it would have the best options for guest and conference rooms. I was wrong. This hotel had beautiful rooms and the staff were attentive--they even recommended a great location for dinner/social event that met our needs perfectly. All of this in Canton, IL!
