Overnight in Sandpoint, ID with family. My son booked it on line. Very clean but it's getting tired. One big problem is the outlets are so worn out that they would hold the plug for our phone chargers. It needs an upgrade.
Quaint, clean hotel in Ponderay, ID with a great breakfast of waffles, cereal, pastries, boiled eggs, apples & other items. Nice 4 person indoor hot tub. Hot shower, hair dryer, etc. Newer decor. Near Police station. Would stay again. Thank you!!
Joyce the manager is very accommodating and goes above the top to make sure we have everything we could need. Shannon in housekeeping takes care of everything else and always makes sure the rooms are very nicely made up. Then Randi and Barbara are usually the ones on night shift and are very accommodating and make you feel very welcome. They always have coffee and the breakfast ready. The location of this hotel is very convenient and in easy walking to what you need. The price is very good for the comfort and location of this hotel.
I absolutely love staying here. Joyce goes above and beyond to make sure our stay is always wonderful. I always sleep good because the beds are comfortable. The rooms have been remotled and are very nice. Never had an issue if I needed anything. All the staff is amazing!!! Will always stay here!!!
The rooms are clean and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Though there is a smoking area it was not in forced and there were groups smoking by the door. The breakfast, what it was did not offer a lot of variety but you could fill up on it and it wasn’t bad. The mattresses had seen better days and were giving out. For the money it was alright but if they had greater competition they might be in trouble.
This hotel was affordable and had the reservation space that our family needed. However, this is the last time that me and my family will be staying here. The staff was very friendly...but the problems we encountered after checking in left a LOT to be desired. Withing moments of accessing our room, my husband went into the bathroom to relieve himself after our long car ride. He noticed that there was excrement smeared on the inside of the toilet. He immediately came out of the restroom and had me call the front desk. The gal at the front desk apologized profusely and immediately came down and cleaned/sanitized the toilet herself and told us how sorry she was that housekeeping had missed an essential item like that. We proceeded to unpack and get settled in our room and turned on the tv to relax and unwind. You can imagine our mounting frustration when trying to access the tv shows, to have the message from DIRECTV, "Receiver has not received Guide Information from the satellite in a while. Please call the front desk (920)". So.....I went down to the front desk and asked the front desk gal if there was a problem with the TV system. She stated that the whole system for the entire hotel was down and she didn't know when it was going to be fixed. We stayed at this hotel for four days and it never worked . No attempt was made to fix the tv problem the entire time we were there. I know it is a First World problem to not be able to watch TV, but when paying for a hotel for my family, I expect a certain level of services to be in great working order. Clearly, this was NOT a good experience. The included breakfast was very delicious every morning. The selection was not as extensive at other similarly priced hotels, but it was filling, delicious, and was enough. The mattresses for sleeping were clean and well made. My only complaint was that the mattress itself wasn't connected to the frame/wall. When sitting on the end of the mattress to put on shoes, the mattress would tip as there was nothing supporting the ends. It was like the mattress was bigger than the supports underneath it. It didn't matter if the mattress was sat on the from the side or the end....it would flip up. Hope this makes sense. I would have a hard time recommending this hotel to any of my friends or extended family.…
Stayed here for a 3 day visit as a couple. The room was very small, but clean and furnished adequately. Had a large screen TV, small refrigerator and microwave, desk, older lounge chair, and relatively newly remodeled bathroom. All was in working order but not finished as well as could be. We stayed on the 2nd floor and all the rooms were accessed from the central hallway which meant youheard slaming doors every time someone came in or out of their room. This was certainly unsettling once you are trying to sleep. The staff was nice and helpfull if not a bit lethargic. Breakfast provided was really a non-event and would highly recommend taking care of your own needs elswhere. The Hotel appeared tobe a bit older and in need of some updating. It was very affordable however and met the need for a clean dry comfortable place to sleep.…
I cannot say enough kind things about Joyce! I made an error making my reservation, and she went above and beyond to accommodate us. The room is clean and comfortable. There's a microwave, mini fridge, and small coffee pot in the room. **A word of caution: there are no elevators, so if you need a ground floor room be sure to ask for one during the reservation process.
Amy works in the house keeping department and when about and beyond to help make sure we had a wonderful stay😀😀😀😀 I was very happy she stayed after her shift ended to make sue our room was perfect!
Old hotel with a face lift. Staff were a bit like zombies........it felt like walking up to the counter at the DMV:). The bathroom floor had some sticky spots, the telephone cord had dried something on it, as well as the bed side table and multiple lights were out. I would have ignored all of this had the room not cost me 189$ for 1 night/singe queen. I won't be back.
