This place looked very cute and old fashioned from the photos I viewed on the website. The reviews were good and we prefer to stay in local family owned inns. We were checked in by a new trainee(my impression) who was not welcoming and didn't seem to know much about the area. She was quite an awkward person and I'm...

We stayed in a little cabin for two couples and had a very nice time. The cabin had two entrances with a full kitchen between us (two couples) and one bathroom. It was fully furnished including covered patio with BBQ. We only needed to run to the Mackay market and pick up a few groceries. My folks are older so...

We came to the area for a family function and decided to stay the night instead of going back to Boise, so we could explore the next day. I read the reviews of the motel prior to calling, so I expected a reasonably comfy room in an older motel that was clean for bargain. I reserved the last room, which...

Stayed here in April 2016 with a friend while we were fishing. The motel is quite older but pretty well kept. The shower is very small but has lots of hot water and does the job. The price is reasonable for the size, age and lack of other amenities in this small town. They do let people smoke in front...

Is it really a 5 star place? Probably not compared to the other 5 star lodging I have reviewed, BUT you have to take into consideration Mackay is a long way from anywhere and we were very happy with staying here. You are not going to find a high end hotel in a place where there are so few visitors...

We only stayed here one night, but the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very small, but the prices were the best in town. They are located near the end of the small town and everything is less then 5 minutes away. Restaurants, grocery store, laundromat, etc.

We stayed there for two nights in the little cabin rooms. They are small and fairly clean. The beds are a bit hard for me. The owners are nice and, yes, they have awesome dogs!!! I will be staying there again in a few months. The prices are also reasonable.

Wagon Wheel Motel is old but nicely maintained. The rooms are clean and priced fairly. The views are just spectacular. And we often see rabbits or deer strolling through the yards in the evening. The owners are absolutely fantastic and we love going there several times a year for riding our atv and hiking or a few rounds of golf...

Firstly, I don't think the owners are rude at all. I love their little dog, every time I go in the dog comes and greets me. The woman is always willing to help me out IF SHE CAN. You have to remember this is a very small town (one where I grew up) and keeping businesses afloat isn't easy. So...

The owners have been very rude to our whole family for years, but we've been going there longer than they have owned it. The rooms are clean, but the owners should not act like we are a burden on them. Every room is rented out so when they try to tell us that they are losing money by having us...
