We stayed here a week in December and it was everything what we expected. We stayed in the Blue Lagoon Suite with the use of the kitchen. It is a very pleasant, spacious apartment with all amenities available. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. They recommended a restaurant in the neighbourhood, which turned out to serve lovely food. They also provide you with a useful map of the area and point out the local supermarkets. Transport to the main island of Venice is less than a 10minutes walk. We would highly recommend it.
We stayed for 15 days at Oasis in early September. The large 3 bed ‘chalet’ is beautifully situated with great views back to Venice and plenty of water activity to keep you occupied. Most facilities in easy walking distance, with property conveniently mid-way between car and ferry landings. The property is excellently equipped, and decorated in a warm and complete way, to really ‘feel like home’. Really nice ambience also encourages you to look after the place well! A/C occasionally made relays trip, but easily fixed. Katja was never intrusive but always responsive to needs. Parking, shown as free, is correct, although it is street and needs you to hunt occasionally! Highly recommended
We spent four nights here in early August- great location less than ten easy minutes walk from both the Lido SME stop and the beach. Our family of 2 adults and 2 kids stayed in the Golden Lagoon view suite- despite the vintage Italian decor, it was really well appointed, spacious and cool in the summer heat with the most amazing views out over the lagoon. We would really recommend it.
Does exactly what you’d expect and proved to be a pleasant, clean apartment and well placed to explore the Lido and the rest of Venice. Helpful and friendly host too, which was much appreciated. All in all, just what we needed. Thank you.
Arrived here easily from Treviso airport via bus from airport then Line 1 to Lido, approx 18 stops down the Grand Canal. Tickets cost about 12 euro on bus and 7.50 for a single trip to Lido. Much faster to catch line 5.1 which has far less stops. The water bus service is ACTV and you can buy day tickets which are more economical. On first impression of this apartment we felt it was very outdated and the reception and staircase were dark and tired. However the views from our apartment were absolutely outstanding, probably the best view we have ever had. We were in the Golden Lagoon Apartment which we used as a one bedroomed but can also be utilised as a three bedroom with kitchen and second toilet. The apartment has a lovely lounge with balcony and huge windows with views of the lagoon and looking onto Venice. There is a fabulous hallway and big bedroom, also with a balcony. The space in this apartment is amazing and we felt that a large family could easily have been comfortable here. A few issues with very flat pillows on the bed and the hairdryer in bathroom needs changing. The Lido is such a fantastic place to come back to after busy Venice. There is a great high street with numerous restaurants and shopping venues and three supermarkets. There is also a beautiful beach on the other side of the island about a 15 minute walk away which was lovely. The best thing was to come back to the apartment late afternoon and sit on the balcony watching the busy lagoon with so much going on. Also the price we paid was unbelievable compared to the silly prices in central Venice. We flew back from Marco Polo Airport which was a direct water bus from Lido using Ali Laguna water bus service which cost 15 euro each and takes about an hour. Would recommend.…
we spend a couple of days at this residence and had a jolly good time. the location is superior, the hospitality great and the appartment spacious and tidy. our hosts speak fluently italian, english and german making the communication simple. they provided us with many hints on how to enjoy the stay. it's a one hour water-bus ride from the airport and a twenty minutes water-taxi ride to venecia. the adria beach is just a walk away on the other side of the island.
Oasis Lagoon and residence was the perfect choice. We spent 6 wonderful days in the Golden lagoon suite with a 180° view at the lagoon. Away from the busy Venice,Lido was a perfect choice just a few minutes away from Venice with the waterbus. Oasis now is on our favourite list and we are planning to come back.
We stayed in the roof top suite for three nights, what an amazing room with stunning views. Really easy to get the water bus over to Venice and nice to come back to the quietness of Lido after a busy day exploring Venice. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to return for longer where we can explore the nearby beach too.
We have just returned from a 3night stay in the roof top terrace (penthouse) for our 12th wedding anniversary. We came across this place by chance as we were looking to stay on Venice itself but when I opened up my search distance, this little beauty popped up and was at half the price of staying in Venice. The apartment is located on Lido which is a very quiet and beautiful island just a 10mins boat journey from St Mark's Square Venice. The apartment is located only a short walk from the taxi boat terminal. On check in we were greeted with a warm welcome by the proprietor and was shown to our room located on the roof. The roof terraced apartment is not an original part of the property and has been recently added. You enter through the exclusive penthouse door which opens up into what I would describe as a exclusive log type cabin. To the right is a very good size bathroom with WC, shower, sink and bidet. To the left is an eating area with TV, safe, chargeable mini bar, music player etc etc. You then go through into the main area which is the bedroom. The bed is very large and extremely comfortable. The decor throughout the cabin is of a nautical theme which fits in perfectly and has been done two very good taste. The bedroom has wrap around floor to ceiling windows, one of which is a sliding door which leads onto the roof terraced. Again the Nautical theme continues. There is a motorised retracting roof gazebo, sun loungers and an eating area with blue mood lighting. From the roof terrace you almost get 360 degree views, but most importantly you have uninterrupted views of the Venice Lagoon and Venice itself, absolutely breathtaking. Lido itself is beautiful the streets are lined with Jasmine which fragrance the air. Opposite the bus terminal is the main lido High Street which has plenty of restaurants and shops. Just a 10 minute walk down the road you reached the other side of the island and come to lido Beach. The beach is kept beautiful with the crystal Clear Waters of the Adriatic Sea. We spent a full day at the beach, the sunbeds cost us €25 to hired two beds or €18 for one bed. We also hired some beach towels for just under €3 each, the towel have a €10 deposit for each which we got back on return. The water taxis run 24 hours a day and cost us €14 per person for a return ticket to St Mark's Square. We heard Venice got very busy so decided to go early one day. We arrived in Venice for 8 a.m. And did the usual walk around gondolas etc etc. By 12 o'clock we found Venice to be unbearable, due to the heat and also the amount of people that were there we will literally standing shoulder to shoulder. Venice has several cruise liners visit it each day, each with an excess of 3000 people on. By 1 o'clock we were back on Lido & back in the peace and quiet. The remainder of the holiday was spent on the roof terrace overlooking the cruise liners coming in and out Port and watching the water taxis & speed boats passing by during the sunset. And the Oasis Lagoon roof terrace is a very magical place. Without a second thought we would return. Transfers to and from airport. We landed at Marco Polo airport and got on a pre-booked water taxi from the airport to Lido which took approximately 1 hour. This cost is €15 each and was booked through Alilaguna which operates every 30mins. During the transfer on the water taxi you get see views of Venice and other surrounding Islands. Once at the taxi terminal it was literally a ten minute walk with our cases to the apartment. We flew home via a different airport which was Treviso. Again after a short walk to the water taxi terminal it cost us €7 each for a one way ticket for the water taxi to take us to the bus terminal located on Venice this journey took approximately 30 minutes. From the bus terminal in Venice we boarded a coach which took us straight to the airport. The coach cost €12 per person and took approximately 1 hour. Constructive criticism. The rooftop terrace has no self catering facilities. There is more than enough space on the roof terrace to build and outside cooking area. However this would not stop us returning, eating out was nice and affordable, but eating on the roof terrace with locally sourced cold cured meats and cheese and wine was heaven. …
Located on the Venice Lido this small self catering complex offers luxury accommodation with lovely views. We prefer to stay away from the hustle of Venice itself and with very frequent water buses ten minutes walk away crossing to or from is no problem, it is also easy to travel to the other islands. The Lido itself has an excellent beach and a good choice of restaurants. Our apartment had two balconies which we used each afternoon watching the sun set over Venice. It would improve the stay experience if the gardens were available for guests to use although I can understand the owners wanting privacy. We did have one of the best rooms so I cannot comment on the others.
