Nice and quiet hotel on the Lido. Good value for money. The hotel is in a old romantic villa, there is a nice charming old atmosphere in the garden and the hallway. The rooms however, are comfortable, but have lost the old atmosphere probably because of 'modernisation' quite a while ago. The hostess was very friendly, she speaks French. We...

Villa Angelica is a very comfortable and cozy little hotel. The 'lady of the house', Elena, is extremely friendly and concerned about your well being she gives all touristic tips she can. The breakfast is very nice with a large choice of breads, yoghurts, cakes etc. The hotel is a t 5 minutes walk from the water bus (vaporetto) station...

We stayed in Lido for 5 days so that we could spend my partner's birthday in Venice. This was our first trip to Lido and will not be our last. Elena at Hotel Angelica was the perfect host. Warm and friendly and gave us advice on travelling to Venice and other islands. The room was comfy and there was a...

Visited Villa Angelica & loved it all, quaint little B&B with clean rooms and enjoyable breakfast, with lovely outside chill out area. The villa Angelica is very well situated to the water boats & water taxies which are only 5 minutes walk away and also a glorious sandy beach close by with restaurants and bars and plenty of sun-beds available....

After the first night of staying in our room my husband could not breath with out his inhaler, it is the black mold on the ceiling in the enter way, in our bathroom and in our sleeping quarters. After showing it to the maid she just looked at the mold and said ok. My father in laws room had no...

We found this place to stay via Sembo.se. Two adults and two children went to see Venice for a day. The hotel is very cozy and personal. A short walk to the bus-boat into St Marco square, a short walk to a beatiful beach. I highly recommend this, and I hope to return very soon!

We stayed here for three nights, and the Villa Angelica suited our needs well. It is an easy walk to both the boat terminal (to Venice and the airport) and the beach, while the island itself is a 15 minute boat ride from Venice. Our room was not big, but was clean and had everything we required. The staff at...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Villa Angelica is a magnificent building dating from the early nineteen hundreds, located on the enchanting island of Lido di Venezia and just a stone's throw away from the famous Palazzo del Cinema and the beaches. The hotel, that has recently been totally restored, is just a short walk away from where it is possible to board the main water buses that will take you to the historical centre of Venice (St. Mark's Square, the Rialto bridge and the Biennale) and its islands (Murano, Burano, Torcello). Villa Angelica is a small crenellated fortress that, with its refined furnishings, recalls Venice's historical links with the Orient. The building is surrounded by a private park where, when the climate is warmer, it is possible to start your day with a wholesome breakfast, or find total relaxation under the shade of the laurels, palms and bamboos after a day's sightseeing. This friendly and professional family-run establishment is owned by Amedeo and Nicole who, along with their staff, will attend to your every need in order to make you feel totally at home and render your stay in this romantic Hotel as comfortable as possible. ... more   less
