This was a great place to stay. Very friendly owners who could not do enough to help us with everything we needed. Close to the stop for catching the boat and in a very relaxing and quiet surrounding. Lovely breakfast and we were really pleased we chose here rather than anywhere on the mainland.

Leaving Cinqueterre, we departed for our drive to Venezia. My wife was a little apprehensive, as we knew we had to take a ferry to Lido from Venezia, and as such we didn't know what to expect. Let me tell you, arriving around 6pm into Venezia towards the ferry, the apprehension rose as we saw the stinky marshes surrounding Venezia...

Villa Casanova was a welcome haven from the hustle & bustle of main land Venice. The Casanova is on the island Lido which is only a 10 min taxi bus journey away from St Marks Sq but Lido is still a thriving community of shops, bars & restaurants but alot cheaper then in central Venice. The rooms are exactly what...

We have just returned from a romantic break in Venice for our 30th wedding Anniversary and we had a fantastic time! Staying on the Lido was perfect for us, we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the island. It is only ten minites by water bus over to the main part of Veniice. We enjoyed the kind hospitality of Eugenio and...

We are really grateful to the staff and management of the Villa Casanova Hotel for making us feel so welcome and looking after us so well. The hotel is really tastefully decorated and comfortable. The staff always attentive and kind, if we were to return to Venice we would definitely choose to stay there again.

We spent a ten-day-holiday at the Villa Casanova at Venezia Lido. We have been at Venezia Lido quite often in the past years and have tried several places to stay. For us, the Villa Casanova is the best place! The location close to the Piazza Santa Maria Elisabetta with the vaporetto station as well as close to the beach is...

My wife and I stayed at Villa Cassanova for 2 nights in July 2008. Villa Cassanova is on the island of Lido - about a 10 - 15 minute ferry ride from the main part of venice. The ferry stop is about a 5 minute walk away. Allesandro and the staff are very helpful, and recommended some nice places nearby...

This is the only place to stay on the Lido!! But please don't go too often as we want to go in June every year and don't want to find it booked up! It's a small but beautifully put-together Hotel - so convenient for everything; the waterbus to/from the city, the bus to the beach, shops, cafes, restaurants - all...
