Having stayed in two other hotels in the Mestre and Venetian lagoon areas, we were very impressed with this stunning hotel set in the peaceful Malamocco area of Lido. Our room overlooked a small square piazza and the pleasant bell-ringing from the church could be heard regularly. With the windows closed, the room was amazingly silent. It is is beautifully...

A lovely hotel, well maintained and very helpful staff at this Lido/Malamocco based hotel ...which is about 15mins ish to the Lido SME vaporetto stop and then 20mins ish into Venice central. We had a family room and the staff kindly moved us from Ca'del Borgo to the sister hotel Ca'Alberti which is about 200m nearer the bus stop -...

If you want a lovely peaceful hotel and don't mind the travelling involved to visit Venice, this is perfect choice. It was ideal for us as we didn' t want to stay in the centre of Venice and wanted to find a hotel with a swimming pool. You can use the sister hotel's pool for free, they even provide towels...

Staff couldn't be nicer. Malamocco could be nicer. The hotel, rooms and people all made for an excellent base when we were visiting Venice. An ideal escape from the buzz of Venice, and don't forget the sister hotel has a pool too. We'd recommend Campari spritz in the evening in the local café.

This is an amazing place. Neat and clean and reminiscent of 19th century style hotel. Rooms are tastefully decorated.breakfast is good. Location can be challenge for first timers. You need to take bus A and B from Lido water taxi terminal which will take 15-20 min to Malamocco and then it is 3 min walk. Once you overcome this part...

Beautiful hotel, nicest staff, beautiful Malamocco! Please note this hotel is not for those who want to stay in the centre of Venice. But for anyone who appreciates peace and quiet and excellent quality, there is nowhere else better in Lido. Some of the reviews exaggerate the distance from the centre of Lido but honestly 10 mins in the bus...

This was a "secret hotel" from Expedia for the Lido area. The problem is, it really is very far from the Lido boat terminal - at 15 Euro cab ride of 20 min by bus and, as others have noticed is in the middle of nowhere. There's a charm to being a very quiet place well off the beaten path,...

Absolutely loved this hotel. It is quite far of the beaten track and a taxi from lido vaporetto stop will set you back €16-24. However, the rooms were beautifully furnished, the staff were attentive and the hotel is so peaceful, sitting out in the morning sunshine for breakfast was heaven! A short walk away you arrive at Lido beach and...

We had no idea when we booked this hotel that it was 6 kilometers from the vaporetto stop, and far from any town. The hotel is quite luxurious and charming, and breakfast is wonderful, but there's really nothing else to do! Two restaurants in town, neither of which are particularly good.
