Fantastic hotel. Rooms are clean with a lovely balcony view over the Venetian lagoon. The breakfast was hot and plentiful. The staff were helpful and friendly. Ivan always welcomed us warmly and we could always rely on him for extra milk and tea bags!!! Lana kindly ironed Andy's shirt at short notice. Location is ideal for popping over to the main...

The hotel is situated right on the lagoon waterfront with beautiful views over to Venice itself. Easily accessible on the waterbus route the Lido is lovely respite from the hustle and bustle of Venice. Its a really quiet promenade, although a little busier at weekend it does not disturb the quiet. Many bars and restaurants are just 10 mins walk...

Lovely, comfortable hotel away from the hustle and bustle of Venice. Nicely furnished and well-maintained. Helpful, welcoming staff. Good selection of breakfast choices...meats, cheeses, eggs, yogurt, cereals, pastries, juices, hot drinks. Staff will make you a "real" cappuccino on request. Very accommodating re reservations and taxis. Short bus ride or longer walk to vaporetto stop...can get to Venice proper, Burano,...

This was our fist time on the Lido but definitely a great choice. The hustle and bustle of Venice during the day and then rest & relaxation back on the Lido. Ivan made our stay extra special by giving us ideas of where to visit that were not the usual tourist reps and he looked after us very well at...

I'd stayed on the Lido before and knew how quick and easy it is to get to and from it, and also how enjoyable it is to approach Venice from the lagoon. I was therefore very happy to book the Russo Palace knowing that you get a good bit more for your money staying 'offshore', as it were. We really...

We asked for a view towards Venice over the water and weren't disappointed. The room was clean but furniture a little dated and not much storage. Staff were all 1st class, helpful and efficient. Breakfast products were varied and good quality with views towards Venice. We enjoyed the short walk along waterfront from water bus platform to hotel. Close enough...

Russo Palace was our last stop on our mini tour of Italy. We arrived on Lido via the vaporetto and the hotel is a 10 minute walk along the water front (turn left out of the station and keep walking) it was 30 degrees when we docked so a bit of an uncomfortable walk with two 20kg suitcases! The hotel...

Great little place, safe, secure, great staff. Wonderful place just 10 minutes from the heart of Venice. Peaceful and quite at night, just wonderful area where you can see all of Venice across the lake.

Friendly helpful staff, good breakfast catering for all tastes, clean rooms and public areas. The WiFi speed is excellent compared with some other hotels we've stayed in. The location is within easy walking distance of the main street on the Lido and public transport links.

We travelled as a family group of 7, to celebrate our daughters 21st birthday. We had a fantastic time at the hotel, the location of the hotel was perfect. We enjoyed the breakfast every day and the staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a brilliant place to stay when visiting Venice, it's peaceful and beautiful.
