The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location, short walk to a lovely beach and twenty minute walk to the town centre. Fantastic restaurant around the corner opposite the Hotel Excelsior. Free wi-fi worked well. Booked a terrace room that was large, complete with table, chairs and sun lounger. The terrace was south facing so was sunny all day... More

Very good service, everyone friendly, excellent breakfast. The hotel provides all the little extras that make the difference, such as dressing gowns, slippers, fridge, even free bike hire. Nice terrace, and comfortable six foot bed. The bus stop was just a minutes down the road, as were three restaurants.

We stayed at this lovely little boutique hotel in April and enjoyed a really relaxing break. The hotel is typically Italian and is run by Stella, who was a superb host. Nothing was too much trouble and she was always on hand to offer help and advice re all the stuff that newly arrived tourists would typically want to know... More

This was a business trip and I enjoyed coming back to the hotel to rest, just off the main road, but really quiet and calm atmosphere. The double room was clean and comfortable with shutters at the window screening the sun and a welcome self operated quiet air conditioner. Old fashioned decor, including a good sized bathroom but all in... More

I stayed at this hotel for almost a week. The property manager is a very nice person and a good host, but the hotel is very uneven and in very poor condition. The rooms vary greatly for the same price. Some are dirty, damaged and small, while others are larger and in mostly better condition. Nonetheless, in one of the... More

The small single room is tiny. With what amounts to an uncomfortable bed an okay bath bathroom, a defective air-conditioner, the only advantage is that the staff are friendly. I felt depressed being there. The furniture is long past its sell-by date and so are the carpeted floors. I shall not go back.

The personnel were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much! The rooms were lovely and the breakfast outstanding! We loved sitting outside in the quiet garden having a wine after a full day of excursions.

Stayed at this little hotel on the Island of Lido, about 5 min. by water bus (vaporetto) from the main Island. It was exceedingly pleasant there and not as congested with tourists as in Venice proper. Amenities were nice and the breakfast good!

the room was clean comfortable and very quite.I appreciated the blinds in the windows so the room was very dark even in the mornings. Air conditioning witch one could adjust yourself was also a plus. Every morning when we came back from breakfast the room was already clean and orderly, very efficiant maid service.Highly recomended for the reasonable price!

Two people, mid-July, 3 nights The location of the hotel was perfect for the two of us. Being on Lido you have to take a boat to the island. The hotel is a 10 EUR car taxi, 30 minute walk or 10 minute bus ride away. Located in a residental area, quite and on a street with no traffic. The... More
