A wonderful warm welcome was had as soon as we entered reception. We didn’t have a booking and we were shown options of rooms available by an extremely helpful gentleman. After a complementary drink we went to our room which has a spectacular view and a small balcony to sit on . The room had everything that we needed and a very powerful shower .
Breakfast was a variety of cold meats , yogurts , buffet style cooked and also omelettes . The lady that showed us to our table and we are sorry we can’t remember her name Was so helpful and explained to us about the different sweetened fruits that were on the buffet to try for example , sweetened bergamot, walnuts , grapes etc.
We will definitely return one day .

Our stay at this boutique hotel was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The staff weren’t just friendly, they were warm and caring. They made our family feel at home, and we had some great conversations that gave us a real sense of their dedication to the hotel and the area. Their kindness, especially with our kids, created such a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
The food was outstanding. We loved the authentic Cypriot dishes, but there was something for every taste, and everything was prepared with such quality and care. Our family room was beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and full of thoughtful details that made our stay extra comfortable.
Beyond just a hotel, this place is run by people who genuinely care, not only about their guests but also about developing and contributing to the community. We truly admire their vision and wish them all the best with their projects in the area.

This hotel gave us a very nice welcome! We ate dinner in the hotel. The waiter Nikos was very kind and helpful! Definitely a four star hotel! The lady at the front desk was amazing! The atmosphere was very calm and chic. When we walked into the room, there were little chocolates and sweets for us and robes and typical things like that. One thing I noticed was that the packaging for the bathroom soap was dio degradable which is amazing.

We visited the hotel for lunch thus this review only involves the restaurant food and not the stay or amenities. As our visit was in January we ordered a Beef Consommé soup. To our disappointment the soup was very blunt tasted more like boiled water instead of stock or broth. To top things up the soup was a very very small portion. Considering the soups was priced at 15.50 euros per person we were unfortunately disappointed by the Kitchen at our visit. Would recommend reconsidering menu pricing and reevaluating some of the dishes.

Apart from its prime location in the top mountain resort of Platres, the quality of service and the culinary delights offered were both top notch, highly recommended.
The hotel is a retreat to be considered like a home away from home. Friendly and welcoming staff and the recent renovation brought the experience to a refreshing level for what can best be described as a breath of fresh air in the beautiful platres forest.

The room was clean, modern with a nice view. A minor detail that could be improved is the sound insulation between rooms.. The food & drinks served at the hotel were very tasty (big portions as well). We were even treated with complimentary sweets delivered in our room, which was a nice touch. Great overall experience.

To be honest, I visited the hotel’s restaurant for a lunch, so I am not allowed to have an opinion regarding the hotel’s amenities and stay.
We visited on a Saturday, 3 people.
Food was tasty, portions were generous, staff was polite BUT the pricing was… over the top. We ordered a salad for starter (€18.50), 2 main dishes (a trout for €29.50 and a chicken for €24.50), 1 bottle of water (€3.00) and 2 glasses of local wine (€9.00 each).
I consider myself a real traveller, visiting every year (repeatedly) a few of the most beautiful cities in Europe -from Paris, to Rome and Athens. When I travel I always visit traditional, cute places to amazing Michelin star restaurants so as to have different culinary experiences.
I don’t mind spending a lot of money if there is a reason (for example if the chef is a superstar, if the restaurant is Michelin awarded, if the view is the best in the city -obviously you have to pay more if your view is Eiffel Tower or London Eye, etc) BUT I found the prices at Palais Perite insanely high -considering you are having a lunch at a small village in the Cyprus mountains.
Nothing can justify the prices and the only reason I am posting this, is not because I want to give a bad review. That would have been unfair. The only reason I am writing all of the above, is simply to give the management some… food for thought. 🤍

Dear Consandia, Thank you for visiting and for your... food for thought ,which is appreciated. As you know, Petit Palais Platres is a Boutique Hotel, meaning that all available Hotel services are in place 24/7 mainly for the residents. At the same time our F&B outlets and services are offered for non residents when visiting either for breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon snacks, dinner and so on. As you mentioned, you have been served 2 main portions and 1 salad which were generous enough for 3 people, thus the total price represents 3 people not 2 and sums up to less than euro 28.60 per person including 2 alcoholic drinks and a bottle of water for 3( vat excluded). In our knowledge, the consistency of all our services, the quality and variety of culinary experience and the overall ambience, generated at this destination after the Hotel's renovation, offer a very pleasant and comfortable experience and added value for the visitors. We remain focus to our mission which is exactly that,to offer consistent services and creating lasting memories. We are looking forward to welcoming you again and we are suggesting maybe to choose to stay over for 1 or more nights, this will confirm your positive overall experience and provide you a more complete experience. Wishing you all the best and safe travels.

Visited this beautiful hotel in January 22. Totally recommend it for families. We had our 3 months old child with us and the hospitality experience was perfect. The room was embedded with all the adult necessities along with a travel cod and infant necessities as we requested. The heat was always on and if that wasn't satisfactory, A/C is also available. The staff were super friendly, especially at the restaurant were we experienced another extraordinary hospitality in a full board stay. Lastly but not least, the dishes were superb and plenty of non alcoholic and alcoholic beverages you can chose. There is also a cigar selection for cognac and brandy lovers like me.

The most bland vegan risotto I’ever tried… at the price of 27,90 euro. When I said so, the waiter said that I would need to add some salt (!). It would be good if the chef tasted their food before serving it.
Unacceptable prices for the quality of food.
I will never visit again and won’t even bother to book a room.
