I wanted to stay in their B&B but I waited too late to book. So we decided to drive there anyway as this place had been on my bucket list for years. It did not disappoint. When we got there the little store was closed but there was an emergency telephone number on the door. I dialed it and Frances...

It seems each year reservations come in earlier making it difficult for shorter notice inquiries to convert to bookings due to the high demand. Every person we turn away is a disappointment to us as well. Dog Bark Park is open for anyone whether they are staying or not to visit where they can walk our grounds, take photos &...

We loved this place. I've always wanted to stay here on my trips to the area when visiting family. I finally planned far enough in advance to do it this time. Like other reviewers have said, the owners were great. They really make you feel welcome at their B&B. It is amazing the attention to detail with all the cool...

So glad you enjoyed your stay after the long wait for reservations. We do acknowledge the summer sun rises extremely early letting in light around the edges of the blinds & we do plan to do something different at the window once we find the ideal solution. Indeed the loft space is attractive to kids of all ages, even fully...

This is a dream come true. From the moment we arrived I felt a sense of love and magic in the air. The bed is oh so comfortable, the snacks and breakfast are homemade and yummy. Inside the beagle is just as you would imagine with a hand carved wooden head board of all different types of dogs. A large...

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay. Have stayed at many hotels, motels & inns over the years we know sleep comfort varies tremendously. A comfy bed is crucial. Happy our memory foam mattress was just right. We personally test every item from the mattress (have same one on all our home beds) to the soaps/shampoos, lighting & of course...

I have had my eye on this beagle for the past ten years. Finally got to stay! The only thing superior to the stay were the innkeepers! Frances and Dennis are the nicest and most talented people you will ever meet. Sprocket is their family dog. You will love him as well. Sleeping in this unique and totally cool place...

We are truly humbled when guests feel they've arrived home even though here is miles from their regular home. Instead of little house on the prairie we try to make all feel welcome at the big beagle house on the Idaho prairie. As Rick Steves says, "travel broadens perspectives." So too, as the big beagle inn creators & keepers, are...

I have had this inn on my list of places to see for quite sometime and I am glad I made it part of my Idaho trip! The owners are very nice and have a cute little shop where you can buy dog carvings. The dog itself is so awesome and worth the experience of staying. The bed upstairs in...

We agree the drive from any direction in Idaho to Dog Bark Park is quite beautiful along rivers, across prairies of agricultural land, in and out of the mountains, small towns here and there and always not much traffic. So glad you enjoyed your stay and time in Idaho.

We celebrated our anniversary at this B&B. Rick & I found it so adorable and loved every minute there. The breakfast selection was great, something to fit the taste of anyone. Frances & Dennis were great host and so interesting to visit with. The room was great, bed very comfortable. Room upstairs for others , had there been more than...

Indeed, the young of heart find staying in the big beagle an enjoyable experience to observe special occasions or simply to have a memorable overnight stay while travelling. We feel truly honored to be a part of so many people's special moments. It was a pleasure to have met you both. Here's to many more anniversaries.

My husband and I stayed only for 1 night, but wished we could have stayed a. Few more. So cute and the hosts were very friendly and so helpful, even drew us a map to cut down our travel time into Montana. The homemade muffins and granola, fresh boiled eggs and cheeses. Plus juices and milks and fruit stocked in...

Having lived in Idaho & Montana combined for over 60 years we're most happy to provide travel route and travel stop suggestions. Our homemade granola is a family recipe of more then 30 years & we're delighted to share it's tastiness and health with our guests.

We stopped at the Dog Bark Park for two nights in June as part of our honeymoon road trip and our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Frances, Dennis and Sprocket are the perfect hosts. Conditions were perfect to mow a wedding greeting into the lawn on this occasion. We're so glad you were pleased with your time here after waiting all these years to visit Sweet Willy. It was our extreme pleasure to have shared visiting time with you.
