We took our beagle on vacation from UT to the Dog Bark Park Inn. Usually when we stay somewhere I view it as a place to sleep and leave my things. However, I found myself wanting to spend time at the Bark Park. There is a trail that used to be railroad tracks we walked our dog on for miles....

So many of our guests also enjoy simply hanging out in the big dog to experience being there; from star gazing, playing some of the board games, reading a selection from the library, or letting their imaginations run free while enjoying the quiet of no neighbors. Sampling locally crafted ales & meeting local folks at Wolf Track Brewery is a...

After reading about the Dog Bark Park Inn in the Sacramento Bee, we knew we had to come and stay in Sweet Willy. What great experience it was! The room was in the belly of the Beagle. It was well worth the climb to enter the charmingly appointed, cozy room decorated with all things dog. Frances and Dennis didn't spare...

Back again for the 6th time in 6 years. I keep thinking that this time will be our last, but when it is time to leave we know that we will return once again the next year. Dennis and Frances are just such wonderful people and we look forward to seeing them every year. Their hospitality is unsurpassed, and their...

We can't get enough of this travelling family & are so glad to welcome them yet another year to catch up with each other. Arriving to the big dog with nothing in mind for doings is exactly a wish we have for all guests; to slow down, breathe the fresh air, take a relaxing walk, daydream, read or play a...

This destination has been on my bucket list since I discovered it. I love beagles so I was drawn to this very unique concept for a bed and breakfast. The place was just as I expected but what truly impressed me was the wonderful couple who own it. They were so friendly and informative. They made our trip better with...

So glad you finally made it to the big beagle inn & we're delighted you enjoyed your time here. We are glad to share our knowledge of the area for sights & places to eat. Now we have two human friends & one beagle friend in Ohio!

I'm very late doing this review, but have only got great things to say about Dog Bark Park Inn! When I knew we would be travelling through Idaho I booked this accommodation as a surprise for my wife and called Frances from Australia - she was so helpful and kind in booking the dog for us. And then when I...

Thanks so much for taking the time to write such a nice review of your visit. It's always so fun to be part of a planned surprise for a member of the travel party. Drop by visitors are always welcome to "trespass" whether having a reservation to stay in the big beagle or not. We welcome visitors to walk around...

I loved my stay here. It is unique and quirky but very comfortable. I ad the whole dog to myself which was nice. I could see it being great for a couple or a family with kids but the loft wouldn't really be super comfortable for adults. The bedroom and bath were both spacious and the bed was great. It...

It was our pleasure to have met you & so glad you enjoyed your time here. We agree, the queen bed is super comfy; in fact we first tested the mattress on our home bed & promptly ordered another one just like it for the inn. Many people comment about such a good sleep. Having a selection of breakfast foods...

I wanted to stay in their B&B but I waited too late to book. So we decided to drive there anyway as this place had been on my bucket list for years. It did not disappoint. When we got there the little store was closed but there was an emergency telephone number on the door. I dialed it and Frances...

It seems each year reservations come in earlier making it difficult for shorter notice inquiries to convert to bookings due to the high demand. Every person we turn away is a disappointment to us as well. Dog Bark Park is open for anyone whether they are staying or not to visit where they can walk our grounds, take photos &...

We loved this place. I've always wanted to stay here on my trips to the area when visiting family. I finally planned far enough in advance to do it this time. Like other reviewers have said, the owners were great. They really make you feel welcome at their B&B. It is amazing the attention to detail with all the cool...

So glad you enjoyed your stay after the long wait for reservations. We do acknowledge the summer sun rises extremely early letting in light around the edges of the blinds & we do plan to do something different at the window once we find the ideal solution. Indeed the loft space is attractive to kids of all ages, even fully...

This is a dream come true. From the moment we arrived I felt a sense of love and magic in the air. The bed is oh so comfortable, the snacks and breakfast are homemade and yummy. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay. Have stayed at many hotels, motels & inns over the years we know sleep comfort varies tremendously. A comfy bed is crucial. Happy our memory foam mattress was just right. We personally test every item from the mattress (have same one on all our home beds) to the soaps/shampoos, lighting & of course...

We are truly humbled when guests feel they've arrived home even though here is miles from their regular home. Instead of little house on the prairie we try to make all feel welcome at the big beagle house on the Idaho prairie. As Rick Steves says, "travel broadens perspectives." So too, as the big beagle inn creators & keepers, are...
