Marion and Paul , were the best hosts, we have ever come across in all the Pubs and BBs we have stayed in. The room was Very clean and well appointed with fantasctic views across the Northumberland Fields and hills. The Bars were well stocked and very well manned by Paul and Marion, nothing was to much trouble for them....

My partner and I have often eaten at the Cat Inn and have always received first class service and food for an unbelievable price. We often visit the Cat Inn for meals and felt the need to respond to the last reviewer as his comments are so far away from the truth! As we are frequent visitors to the Cat...

In response to ShampooUk (Mr Angry) My wife and I also dined at ‘The Cat Inn’ on the 19th June 2010 and have to disagree with your comments. I don’t usually leave comments on websites; however, I was recommending the pub to a colleague and accessed the site to show him the location of the pub and read your comments...

We had intended an overnight stay here but decided to eat first. The bar service was initially quite friendly other than a vague complaint over where we chose to sit. The food is good home cooking, and the portions generous. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys good beer, wine, food and...

Stayed here for 2 nights in a surperb large family room. Found the Cat Inn by chance when we stopped for lunch at Easter 2010.If you have SAT NAV travelling from the south, it will take you off the A1 approx half a mile too early as the postcode is targeted for the Golf Club. Continue past the road end...

As a salesman I have stayed in other local hotels for the past 2 years. I came here by chance in February and returned in March because Marion & Paul could not do enough for me. I love my food and I have to say the menu and the quality and quantity is tremendous, (no small portions here) all credit...
