We love staying here when we stay in town to visit with friends and family. The inn is nicely decorated and the staff is very friendly. We love sitting on the porch and the gardens are beautiful! The dining is very nice also weather it is the B and B breakfast ,lunch or Sunday brunch. All wonderful southern dishes.

I grew up in Swainsboro (born in the early 50's), although I moved away 40 years ago, then returned 10 years ago. When I was growing up this was the Shadowlawn Mortuary for many years before being bought and turned into a B&B. I've never stayed in the B&B but have dined at their buffet many times. It's a Friday...

Business took me to Swainsboro recently and I was told to eat at the Coleman House and that is was known far and wide to be some of the best southern food in Georgia. Being a southerner and knowing good southern food, I was intrigued. From the road, the old Victorian home looks grand, however on closer inspection it is...

I have eaten at places all over Ga. and the food at the Coleman House is the best I have had. The deserts are great especially the chocolate pie. I had rather eat here than at Paula Deans and it is half the price. Also it is the perfect place to take your honey for Valentines Day.

I picked up my 81 year old uncle who has just lost his wife of 60 years and met my sister for lunch. I travel for work a lot and eat out often. But for the money it was one of the best meals I have had at a restaurant I have had in a long time.

We have stayed here more than once on the way to and from Florida on the way to a conference in Black Mountain, North Carolina. Breakfast is included in the modest room price and there is an extensive lunch buffet. Beautiful gardens, delightful porches, and beautifully appointed rooms make this a respite from the road. Only challenge is finding a...

A friend and I spent four nights at this B&B and were disappointed in the house and in the hospitality. The house is quaint and fun to look at, but it's located on Main St. in Swainsboro, which makes it very noisy since the street noise is very loud. If you need a quiet place to sleep, this place is...

I recently spent the best part of a week at the Coleman House Inn and it was really a pleasant experience. The house is a spectacular building (if you're into that kind of thing) and the owners are pleasant to be with. The atmosphere is comfy and relaxed and a great place to come "home" to after a long day....

While making plans to visit family in swainsboro georgia, i did a search for lodging in the area and came across ... . It looked so beautiful I just had to try it. It was even larger than i imagined. Me and my wife received excellent service while staying, the innkeepers live in the home and it also acts as...
