We spent a night on the Yurts in the campground. I knew what a Yurt was, but didn't expect it to have so much room, even if it looks small on the outside, it can comfortably fit 4 people. There is a queen bed, tables, and a bunk bed with a couch on the bottom. It has a patio overlooking...

October and fall leaves along with the Fall Pumpkin Festival, Scottish Festival and Family and Home Festival made for VERY BUSY and NOISY nights. Camp sites were also very close. I wouldn't recommend for a relaxing getaway but more for a fun, exciting, adventurous time with family. I enjoy tent camping and some of the neighbors also enjoyed the serenity...

We absolutely loved our site. We had plenty of room. Looked at others reviews about the park & heard some of the spots were tight. The people were friendly. We've heard that holidays are extremely crowded. The pool hours are a bit weird (open at 10:00 am & close at 7:00 pm.), and I thought the nightly rate is a...

Just a short story: Today, I had to undergo a mandatory hurricaine evacuation from southeast Georgia. I called the campground at Stone Mountain and asked if they could accommodate a tent camper. They said they were completely full but they would allow me to camp on the grass. I told them I was driving 6 hours and might get in...

We arrived quiet late and it was freezing. To our surprise when we rocked up people popped out of their warm vans to guide us in, welcome us and help hook up the RV. It was just terrific to have a helping hand after a long day on the road. It made for a pleasant finish to the day.

Love, love, love this place! We had a great time camping here. The RV sites are level with full hook ups. The camp store is well stocked. They have a pool and playground which made my son very happy! Most sites have a view of the lake. We used the shuttle to go to the Stone Mountain aerial tram. We...

Wife and I in town for a couples workshop. Wanting a different experience, chose tent-camping. Staff very friendly, offering great advice on campsite selection. Campground clean and good amenities. Bathrooms could use some housekeeping and minor repairs but hot water and good pressure. Weekend was awesome and this stay was part of the experience. Thank you!

We didn't have any problems while there. The office staff was nice enough. The bathhouse showers were the pits. We looked in the bathhouse for the "premium" sites and the showers were much larger. Not sure how well the shower heads worked in the premium area because we didn't actually use the shower. Not sure if we'll go back to...

Stayed here 3 nights and it was great. People are friendly and helpful. RV park is located inside stone mountain park so you never need to leave the park everything's at your fingertips. Looking forward to coming back it's been fun and most of all a family atmosphere.
