We recently stayed at The Cloister Sea Island for the Resort Races Half Marathon. It is an amazing property, no detail is overlooked, and the staff is incredible! If you want the royal treatment, go to Sea Island!
The hotel staff is very friendly. The overall hotel is not very wowing. Consider staying at The Lodge. I wish I would have chosen to stay there. The Cloister is also the club house for the neighborhood.
Beautiful, old, historic establishment of the South. Generations of families gather here for Thanksgiving festivities and annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Demographics: White and Old Money. Lots of activities, Hawk Walk was my favorite. Great for children.
