Ours was a spur of the moment decision to just get a night away. We arrived on a Friday evening, had a delicious dinner and spent a nice quiet evening alone. The next morning, a fresh pot of coffee was waiting for us. We were served a picture perfect breakfast that tasted scrumptious. The staff is super warm and welcoming~...

This is freakmom again, and I still stand by my review. On this day, at this time, we had terrible service. The "wonderful lady" owner was not that concerned about our complaint. She never offered any type of come again and we will try to be better discount or anything. Maybe it was a fluke, but we spent our hard...

My husband and I wanted to visit Helen for our "babymoon" (last-chance getaway before our baby arrives) in July 2010. Bernie and her staff were delightful, the (Oak) room was very comfortable with a lovely pastoral view, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. At first we wanted to rent a cabin for our stay, but most in the area...

My friend and I were on a "girls' trip" for a couple of nights and enjoyed our stay very much. We stayed in the Meadow room and had the upstairs to ourselves. There was a king size bed and a day bed with trundle so we had lots of room. Views were lovely. The breakfasts were the highlight. GREAT food...

My sister had her wedding here on Saturday May 15th. I must say it was absolutely fabulous. I have never experienced a more attentive staff. They were there at every moment to make sure that a good time was being had by all and that everyone was comfortable. We also had the rehearsal dinner here on Friday. My husband and...

Bernie runs a delightful, wonderful place - with good food, atmosphere and a very friendly staff. To say people in our neck of the woods are "less educated" is completely inappropirate when writing a review of this nature. To this "freakmom" I say stay away - we don't want your type "up in these parts!!!!!"

My husband and I so enjoyed staying at Nacoochee Valley Guest House. This is our third year there. We've been in two of the rooms and love them both. The breakfast is cooked by Bernie who owns the guest house. Blueberry stuffed French Toast, doesn't that sound great. What a wonderful cook. The grounds are so beautiful and you can...

All I can say is WOW!! Once you get there it is very simple from the front but on the inside wow again. The inside is fantastic and the rooms have the old house charm to them. The back yard is very beautiful with a swing and deck. But, what makes it the best is the owner Bernie and her...
