We stayed in a luxury suite that was not advertised for our 25th wedding anniversary. When you enter the Sea Side Suite, you walk into a foyer with two doors. The first one opened to a large bedroom with a huge seating area containing a pull out sofa bed and elegant writing table. There was a separate area with a... More

The Lodge at Sea Island is absolutely wonderful. It is the ultimate in comfort, convenience and pure bliss. The Lodge is a small resort that is part about of the overall Sea Island Plantation. The Cloisters is beautiful, sumptuous, and elegant. The Lodge is all that and more. The staff is wonderful. Once given your name you are addressed by... More

I treated my husband to a long weekend golf get-away for his birthday and I couldn't have chosen a better place. We were both impressed with the high level of service and attention to detail in every area of the hotel. I would definitely recommend The Lodge to anyone looking for a quiet retreat and a great place to play... More

When visiting the Lodge, enjoy the wonderful piano music (occasionally accompanied by Keenan Carter) of Christopher Smith. He has performed at Carnegie Hall- a true talent. Don't miss out on this special treat!!!!!

I didn't what to say about this place other than total perfection. Butler service, incredible golf courses. Just wow. The steak was amazing, thanks Michael and Zelda. The Oak Room was every man's dream.

The Lodge is an excellent place to get away. High level of service, customer service is simply beyond expectations. The highlight for us was milk and cookies delivered to your room each evening (request card on the desk to experience this). The property is designed for golfers for certain, which we did not golf. It is great for anyone wanting... More

Three years in a row I have spent staying at the Cloister. This year it was for a wedding and instead of staying at The Cloister, I choose to stay at The Lodge. It TRULY is hard to say which location is better. The amenities are the same -- if you would like to go anywhere between them, then there... More

Luxurious old world hotel appointed with handsome dark wood, antique rugs, blooming orchids, silver urns on the beverage stand, valet parking, staff holding open doors, verandas on both sides of hotel for relaxation. The rooms are beautiful and the staff and upkeep are top notch. I enjoyed the bagpipe player on the water-side lawn as the sun set each evening,... More

I try to get to the Lodge a few times a year. Every time I have a wonderful stay. The rooms are large, clean, and have great views of the golf course. The bathrooms are large and the shower has fantastic water pressure. One of the best showers of any hotel I have stayed at. The lodge sits on the... More

We take an annual golf trip to the Lodge and it matters not if you golf because the property is so wonderful. The rooms are beautifully appointed with large patios overlooking nature at its best and wandering bagpiper in the evenings.
