I booked our specific campsite over a month out, so I could get a specific site which was more secluded than others. Upon arrival, I wasn't happy to learn that it's first-come-first-serve for tent sites; although when booking through the website, you still have to...More

Nice campground with level spacious pull through sites. Lots of trees and sites are laid out to ensure a sense of privacy. Nice nature trail, boat dock/fishing pier. Bring insect repellant - as with most coastal marsh areas the gnats were a nuisance. We will...More

Anyone been camping in last week or so? Wondering if sand gnats are still a problem? Or mosquitos?

Gnats and mosquitos are always a problem in the summer in the South. We use the backyard bug spray and it keeps them out of your camp site.
