AmaTierra is nestled among the mountains and forests of Costa Rica. I was traveling with a friend of mine and each morning we awoke to the sound of birds followed by our morning yoga session in the open air yoga studio nestled in the side of a mountain. No matter which way you looked you saw gorgeous green rolling hills...

In looking for a honeymoon that provided both adventure and relaxation, my husband and I were very pleased with our trip to Costa Rica and our stay at AmaTierra. The Triple H Honeymoon package provided by AmaTierra was completely planned for us and allowed us to tour the beautiful country with ease. Our final destination was Ama Tierra and it...

Ama Tierra and its hosts Bob and Jill offer a truly magical experience. In the seven days that I stayed there, I learned how to eat healthier, relax, meditate, understand my body through daily yoga, see some amazing scenery and make some really nice acquaintances. Each day offered a new adventure, some serene and others exciting. Everything you could ask...

After a somewhat difficult trip in the dark to find Ama Tierra, Bob and Jill greeted us like old friends to their beautiful and homely resort. The home-cooked meals were amazing, poolside yoga in the mornings the perfect way to start the day, and the best massage we've ever had from Jill topped off the stay. Nestled into the hillside...

We stayed at Ama Tierra for 1 night as a stopover from La Fortuna to Manuel Antonio. We were traveling with another couple, both celebrating our anniversaries. Overall, this hotel is exactly as it claims to be - a mountain retreat geared to those looking for a healthy getaway. My only disappointment was the fact that is was much further...

My husband and I had a very relaxing vacation at the Ama Tierra however we both felt there were some areas that required more attention or changes made to those procedures already in place. Despite what may be perceived as a negative above, the view, the food and the excursions were excellent. We would recommend Ama Tierra as the place...

A stay at Ama Tierra will nourish your mind, body and soul. The casitas are pretty, quiet, private and comfortable, food was scrumptious and plentiful. Yoga out on the deck of the pool was very soothing. During my stay I met a couple of terrific women travelling together and others on their own too. You really slow down in this...

Jill and Bob are excellent hosts at Ama Tierra. We'd been to Costa Rica before and stayed on a beach. The reason we chose Ama Tierra this time was for the cooler climate and the yoga. The climate was great and the yoga was a perfect start to our mornings. Ama Tierra is situated on a lush hillside with spectacular...

Imagine doing yoga on a beautiful clear morning, surrounded by mango trees as toucans and other colorful birds fly by. Our stay in Costa Rica was amazing and Ama Tierra contributed much to the magic. Situated in a less touristed area of Costa Rica, the views of the mountains are magnificent, there are trails to walk on to view wildlife,...
