My husband and I love historic hotels and this one is now one of our favorite! We stayed in the room facing Broad Street. Initially we were concerned about street noise but we both slept great and never heard any noise This room is very unique with old exposed brick and a full wall of windows. There is a quaint...

I recommend this hotel. It will be very different than any place you've been before. It's in an ideal location for exploring the little shops and restaurants by foot in an interesting small town. Great getaway!

The 3 of us childhood friends were in town for our friend's wedding. We decided to stay at the Wayfarer. Crista was very helpful via email. Even though there isn't an attendant, we felt very safe with the key code locked door at the bottom of the stairs. We had the suite with a queen bed in one room and...

This lodging was the most unique place I have ever stayed. We never saw a soul, had everything we needed at our disposal and came & went as we pleased. The location was right downtown and we walked to shops and to eat. I would definitely stay here again...even by myself just to get away and be alone. I loved...

Recently stayed at the Wayfarer with my friend as I had business in Monroe. The Hotel was awesome, Krista was very helpful and we loved our room. She told me that it was bright because of streetlights which it was and the street in front is a highly traveled route but we were very comfortable. The bed is divine. The...

Beautifully restored loft-like hotel. We were lucky enough to get all four rooms for family and they all loved it. The staff was helpful and super nice. They all said they would love to go back. Price was unbelievable. Excellent location in downtown historic area.

Crysta and Allison were very attentive and welcoming. A last minute booking was received with a pleasant response and an after hours meet up. The suite was wonderful. Classic southern charm with a comfortable feel. The bed was very comfortable. The lines were luxurious and clean. The bathroom was fantastic. So why did I not give 5 ⭕️? The noise...

We think the hotel is a new addition, because we don't remember it from when we lived in Monroe. Our home has been rented the last six years, and last weekend, a tenant was moving out. We needed a hotel for Saturday and Sunday night after working around our house in preparation for the next tenant. Previously, we stayed in...

We chose The Wayfarer when we had to travel to Monroe for a few nights to pick up a work vehicle. We chose it because it seemed like the best location, and was not expensive. We arrived around 7pm, and used the code in the email to open the door. The stairs lead you up to a large gallery, with...

Due to a wedding of my oldest son, I booked all of the rooms that they had. It was convienent to the bar of armicis and I think they had fun. The rooms are large but don't put a marble on the floor. It will disappear in a minute. Old town fun is the best way I can describe it!
