This hotel couldn't be faulted on my recent 1 night stay, all the staff I encountered were great. The pub and restaurant are excellent, decent real ale, good outside area, order the onion rings they are the best ever!

Had another nice evening here, we probably eat here every couple of months and food and atmosphere good. The warm scotch eggs (with black pudding) are a great starter and the fish and chips is really well cooked. The pie of the day is always good as well. Nice relaxed place, good food, and friendly team. Well priced too. 4...

We visited here on a busy Friday night. Nice atmosphere. The restaurant area was comfortable. Staff were attentive & polite. A small issue was dealt with and corrected swiftly. All in all a lovely meal. The leak & potato rosti was good, côte de boeuf was nicely presented. We would eat here again.

Special mention to Seamus who waited on us in the evenings, such a lovely well mannered young man, nothing was too much trouble. Also the young lady who booked us is, sorry I don't know her name but she was excellent....
