Stayed here the week before they closed the park for the season. From the time we checked in, to the time we left, the front desk workers were rude. No personality, seemed as though we were an imposition to their jobs. The grounds are beautiful however the campsite wasn't very well maintained and we picked up debris and junk that was left behind from the campers before us. The site we were in is very close to the neighbors. Not all are positioned like that. Make sure you have friends going with you or pick lots that don't back up to someone. Wifi sucks and there was no cable.
We spent Labor day weekend at the resort. My grandchildren are still talking about what a good time they had. They had so many activities geared towards kids for example: train ride, tractor rides, rocket launch, outdoor movie and a golf cart parade. We will definitely be coming back.
Exploring the area and camped here for 1 week - paid 6 nights get 7th free. The check in was simple and C-19 aware. We were assigned the spot next to the volleyball court across from the pavilion. it was a nice large gravel site with FHUs. The campground is very large and has many seasonal type sites - they are kept neat and clean. We did notice that the vacant site next to us was used as a driveway by golf carts and trucks so would ask for a different site if we returned. There are many sites that back up to the very nice rippling stream. We would return.
We stayed here for 3 months so the price reflects the monthly rate (electric was in addition to that). We loved our stay and would definitely return. The staff is so helpful and friendly, the campground and surrounding area are beautiful, and the amenities at the campground are very nice. There is a pool, mini-golf, paddle boats, fishing, basketball, playgrounds, etc. Lots to do for the whole family! Some of the sites are very close together, but we really liked our site #7 which was in a different section of the park away from the main area that gets crowded on the weekends. We are a fulltime RV family and don't usually stay somewhere for so long, but due to COVID this year we had to cancel a lot of our plans. I was very thankful we ended up here, it was the perfect place for us to stay put for awhile, and it wasn't too hot in the summer months. The only bad thing is the very poor cell coverage. Since we work remotely, we need internet and cell coverage. We have unlimited data plans with Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile to make sure we're covered in most places in the country. All 3 worked at this park, but were extremely slow and sometimes unusable. The park WiFi helped fill in the gaps when our cell carriers weren't working, but even that was pretty slow most of the time. But if you are coming to camp and don't care about cell coverage, this place is the perfect get away!…
Very nice and friendly camp ground. We stayed for 3 nights and I wish it was more. Yes we will be back to stay. The campground has a lot to offer. The tv reception is limited however the cable tv was awesome.
