Absolutely wonderful stay!! Linda the owner is the sweetest lady and so accommodating. She made the most incredible breakfasts every morning (even took requests for French toast), and made sure there was always coffee, tea, and hot chocolate for us. The most amazing part was the hot tub and sauna!! So relaxing and rejuvenating, we went multiple times a day and it was great. So many pretty trails and mountains nearby, also a few great restaurants (we especially loved Brother’s). We loved this bed and breakfast, it was the perfect place to get away. Definitely plan on returning every year!!
My husband and I were looking for a one night stay in Hiawassee near the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds that wouldn’t break the bank. He found Hidden Valley B&B and what a great place! We stayed in the Sunflower room and it was decorated beautifully and was very comfortable and cozy. Mardi and Ron thought of everything to make our stay comfortable we even had a chocolate on our pillow when we returned that night from the fair. The location was perfect for us and the property is breathtaking. We enjoyed breakfast the next morning on the back deck overlooking the back yard. Mardi served a breakfast fit for a king, lots of food and it was delicious. There was another couple staying there and they were celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary and Mardi made a decoration for the table just for them. We were lucky enough to have breakfast with this couple and with Mardi and Ron. We felt like we were staying with family. We plan on staying at Hidden Valley B&B when we make our next trip to the mountains!…
simply stated the best b&b that we have stayed in. Marty and Ron have become our friends for life. Amazing breakfast and attention to detail. Looking forward to going back. Don't miss the music at the hiawassee square that Marty and Ron organize.
My husband and I spent two nights here after purchasing a stay on Living Social. We stayed in the Angel Room, a suite on the ground floor with a private entrance and access to the spa and sauna. Our hostess, Mardi, was wonderful! By the time we left, we felt like she was a life long friend. Ron played the saxophone in the afternoon...so relaxing. Eating Mardi's delicious breakfast with other guests was another highlight of our stay. We came to Hiawassee to do some day hikes on the AT. Mardi followed us to park our car at Dick's Creek Gap and then took us to a spot where we could access the AT so we could do a one way hike. Altogether, we were able to do three sections of the AT while we were there. (Taking a relaxing bubble bath in a claw foot tub was was a luxurious option after a long hike.) Mardi also had information about many other hiking opportunities in the area. She gave us recommendations about local restaurants. We ate at Brothers (very good) and at a Chinese/Thai restaurant that we enjoyed also. A special treat was Mardi's homemade truffles...yum! We loved this place so much that we will make a point to return to Hiawassee just so we can stay at Hidden Valley B&B. Mardi may not be from the South, but she defines Southern hospitality. Thanks again, Mardi and Ron!…
Super homey and cozy B&B! Marty and Ron were so friendly. My husband and I stayed in the sunflower room- very cute and comfortable! We also had our own entrance into and out of the house. The breakfasts were amazing with soo much food, and Marty kept the coffee flowing! They had a jacuzzi and sauna downstairs- very nice. We went to a local winery, Hightower Creek Vineyards, the first day. They had a great deal on tastings- 5 wines + wine slushie for $5 and cute atmosphere! The other highlights of the trip were Anna Ruby Falls, High Shoals waterfalls, The Brasstown Bald (definite must!- gorgeous view off of the highest point in GA), and the restaurant Brother's (tasty fresh fish, steaks, etc). Lovely trip!
