We camped at River Bend Campground, 2626 Streak Hill, Haiwassee, GA. It is by far, the best campground we have stayed in in the U S and we are avid campers. Each site is gravel, very level and extremely clean. But what impressed us so much was the cleanliness in the shower rooms. Immaculate! They have nice wooden doors that are varnished. No mold. Then, the showers have glass doors. The hardware is polished inside the shower. The campground has nice shade throughout. It is close to Helen, Ga. there are plenty of campsites and each has a fire pit. Dogs are permitted. The entrance is nicely groomed with beautiful flowers and not a weed in site. A river flows and bends here. It’s amazing! Can you tell we loved it?

Stayed in one of the 3 bedroom cabins. The rooms were all very large, which was suprising. The unit was very clean. We were on the river side and it was nice being that close to the river. Having a hot tub was nice at the end of the day and the kids had a great time in the river and in the pool.

We are staying at one of the cabins for our friends' son's wedding. It is just absolutely beautiful. The cabin is so nice and clean. It's on a hill with an incredible view. We will definitely try to make a return visit to this lovely spot.

We had stayed at these cabins before and loved it but this last tine we stayed in the cabin right beside the pool, and we ended up leaving a day early because of the people that live just across the cul-de-sac were looking in our cars and windows of the cabin and calling the owners saying that we left the top off of the hot tub and that we had 12 people staying in the cabin. Which we did NOT. These "supposed care takers " of the cabin were constantly walking their dogs just staring at us if we were at the pool and would sit in their picture window and watch the cabin to see who came in and out. Then the owners who were in Florida started emailing us stating that we had too many people in the cabin. The cabin slept 10 and we had no where near that number of people staying there. They ended keeping $120 of a $200 damage deposit because of extra guest that we did NOT have. My advice don't stay with Greg Diehl, if you want to stay in these cabins stay with Mark O'Donnell. He is awesome!!!!

This company owns cabins beside the river and up on the side of the mountain. We stayed at one of the cabins in the mountains. It was wonderful. Very clean, huge cabin with pool table and ping pong table. Flat screen TV's, big kitchen. If I have to say anything bad, it would be the drive up to the cabin. Its really steep, but I guess a lot of people are used to that type of thing.
