this was our 4th time to Helen and 3rd stay at the Heidi. Overall, room was very good. We had the suite and was very spacious. The carpets could use a good cleaning but everything else was clean. WiFi was down first day but they got their problem fixed. We will continue to return to Helen and the Heidi.

Visited Helen while on vacation from the UK. Stayed at the Heidi motel and had an excellent nights sleep after a day of driving. The room was very clean and comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. The bathroom was excellent and the motel is ideally located across from the Country general store and along Main Street where there's...

I loved discovering Helen, and the Heidi Motel made it affordable and friendly. We plan to visit again. My wife and I made use of the swing the swing that overlooked the town. We had free wifi and accommodating service.

I first thought of rating this motel as a 4 because it is an older motel but that wouldn't be fair because I've stayed newer motels that were not as nearly clean as the Heidi. We were greeted at check in by Shebra who went out of her way to help us. The bed was very comfortable and one of...

The king patio suite is huge! Sweet patio on the front of the motel, large living room, spacious bedroom, and closets for stashing luggage and packages. Super soft squishy bed, extra blankets, and an air conditioner in each room. It's like staying at your friend's charming cabin in downtown Helen. Grab a bag of ice at check-in. The store across...

I found this hotel on TripAdvisor and I'm so glad I booked it. My stay was great. The area was quiet, WELL maintained and made my time in Helen even better. It was the first time in a long time that I was given a real door key upon checking in, but that made it even more unique. I was...

All the rooms will be enjoyable. The staff was very pleasant. Loved having a glass of wine in the swing out front of the motel. The Heidi's location makes it very easy to walk into the main part of town and see all of the attractions. A good German breakfast is just a few steps away.

We stayed in the queen suite and was very pleased! Very clean, quiet and very nice hosts. Great location to the main part of Helen. Good walking distance to everything. Nice general store across the street. The bed was a bit squeaky but generally comfortable. We had a full wraparound porch, sink, small fridge and microwave. Would definitely stay again!

My daughter and I went to Helen for a weekend trip. We wanted to stay somewhere within walking distance of the cute little downtown and this motel was perfect. It's not fancy, it's modest, but very clean, safe and convenient. Also, the owners are so super sweet - they are on site and very attentive. For the affordable price I...

Wonderful quaint hotel with iconic windmill. Facility was dated however rooms very clean. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Good wifi signal. Location was so stellar. Situated at end of town across from the General Store, (which has everything you need), you can easily walk everywhere. Price is right. Coming back for sure. Roberts family, Navarre FL

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Heidi motel is located in down town and is one of the most Photographed building in Helen, GA and is one of the landmarks to the town and also are currently the only Motel in this area that you can actually stay in a windmill. We do not do a Breakfast due to the fact that we are across from Bettys country store and 2 buildings down from Hoffers Bakery which we recommend to all our guest to go for a great German breakfast and lunch. We have no pool due to the fact that we are so close to the river and that there are 2 water parks in town. We are American owned and operated and live on site. We work very hard to make your stay great and really appreciate your business. Thanks Chad Jackson ... more   less
