We really enjoy out cabin and the state park. Lots of things to do with the family. Anna Ruby falls is definitely worth the uphill trail walk. Definitely coming back to this place. Our kids enjoy the trails and playgrounds.
When our cabin became unexpectedly unavailable due to maintenance Sarah worked tirelessly to get us into something that could accommodate our large family while keeping us near our friends that we traveled with. The kids loved the cabin. Lots of outdoor adventures for the whole family. Sarah and Danielle got us all set up with the peddle boats and archery. Tim did a great job showing our kids how to use a bow and arrow for the first time.
We got a good deal through Groupon. The staff was very helpful and we were able to get an early check-in and late check-out. Fireplaces throughout the lodge which were nice on a cold rainy night. We would definitely stay here again.
Staff was excellent. They recommended a room with a view when I didn't know enough to ask. Their recommendation for restaurants and hiking trails was excellent. Always had a great, welcoming attitude. Rooms were not fancy but clean. Location was great: Great views. Quick easy drive to downtown, and immediate access to great hiking trails. January was a great time to go. Hellen is still alive with tourists, which means restaurants and shops are still open, but not crowded. Nothing special going on, but never had to wait.
This hotel is very old bad smell We make the reservation by the phone, the lady said we can get extra sofa bed for my kid but went we arrive the lady said sorry the resort don't have any sofa bed !!!!! So we have to start look for another hotel at 10PM SINCE WE WERE NOT ALL COMFORTABLE IN A ROOM WITH A SINGLE BED. I do recommend you the Holiday inn very clean and excellent service , breakfast with the same price
