Best time to visit Helen, Christmas time! The Helendorf is decorated beautifully but on the river and reasonably price. Our room even had a small Christmas tree. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was ok.This is our place to stay when visiting Helen!
Nice place to stay but it’s an older motel and has some age and wear. Clean. Good value. Flat pillows. Great location and you can walk to any thing in downtown area. Visit Helen at Christmas if you can.
The hotel was very nice. Close to everything. The desk staff were very friendly. We had a good experience. We would go back. The room was very clean and we had no issues.
The river next to hotel was very nice. Nice view

The pool is enclosed and heated - but poorly maintained. After seeing feces in the pool area and it remaining there for the duration of our stay I would suggest you avoid it for safety reasons. The rest of the resort is wonderful but whoever is responsible for the pool does a regrettable job at best.
