Newell Lodge welcomes you with Southern hospitality. We stayed in Cabin 4 which is pet friendly. It is two bedroom house with antique furniture and two baths. It was clean and comfortable and we cooked dinner in the ample kitchen. The accommodation's exceeded our expectations. But that is only part of our review because the hosts and the grounds add...

Loved my cabin. Very Comfortable, 2 bedrooms, living room full kitchen. (You have to bring own food. closest food store, restaurant approx 7 mls. Cabins nestled in a secluded area. Beautiful oak trees. Horses rooming freely. Peace, quite, beauty. Great for walking. Gulf carts supplied upon request.

My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights in Nov. We loved driving around the property in the golf cart and walking over to see the horses grazing in the morning sun. Our cabin was neat and clean and had what we needed to fix an evening meal. Be sure and go to the local grocery store in Folkston (Harvey...

We bought a livingsocial to Newell Lodge for my step-daughter's 12th birthday and all I can say is it was a home run. Harvin and Kay and Ashley did everything possible to make our stay perfect. From the outdoor fires, to the fishing pond, to the included golf cart rental, to the horses, to the amazing breakfasts everything was done...

My husband and I spent a long weekend at Newell Lodge for our 24th anniversary. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were treated as though we were a part of the family. Our two bedroom one bath cabin was more than I expected, nicely decorated, adequately stocked and impeccably clean. The kitched had everything we...

We have just come back from our 4 night stay at Newell Lodge and can't wait to turn around and go back. The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed and more, the little extras like, first aid box, washing up liquid, needles and thread, etc, all the small things you wished you remembered to pack and didn't. There...

For the second year in a row my daughter and I enjoyed a weekend together at Newell Lodge. Being horse lovers we found this wonderful country hideaway through a deal at Livingsocial. We weren't sure what to expect, but were delighted with our two bedroom cottage, with full kitchen and living area and complete with our own golf cart to...

We visited Newell Lodge through a deal on livingsocial, and loved the place. Beautiful countryside location that was initially difficult to find, but loved it when we got there. Stayed in one of the small cabins. They were very nice, but it is difficult to sleep 2 people in the larger of the 2 bedrooms in a full size bed....

“Cabins can accomodate families or couples. Just go on line and there are pictures of the various cabins and you can enter dates to see if the one you like is available.”

“We stayed in cabin #4 "the big cabin" and it was spacious and well appointed. Note these are "cabins" in name only - they are really little individual houses.”

“Small cabins have room for 3 people, one room with a double bed, and one room with a twin. Full kitchen setup is available, so for a long time stay, bring your own food, as restaurant selection in Folkston is limited”
