The hotel was lovely, room was very clean staff very friendly and helpful. Should you wish to eat at their restaurant it was yummy and very well presented. Good location , excellent service and food. Rooms ok tea making facilities in room -- not well replenished. Front of house most helpful. Gardens really nice and interesting planters and displays. Outside seating available. Serves real ale , which for me is a must and it is well kept.

Meltham is close to Holmfirth, Summer wine country. A wowcher night away in beautiful Yorkshire is always a great thing to do.. We travelled from Kent on a bank holiday Saturday. Reaching the hotel around 6pm with 4 adults and two young grandchildren. We had booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. On our arrival we were shocked to be told that we had no booking and they had no rooms available. There was a function going on so they were fully booked!...
