#1 of 9 B&Bs / Inns in Panamaram
"Ente veedu," the Malayalam for "my house," is situated in an exotic locale in Wayanad, one of the hill stations in Kerala. World renowned for its coffee and tea plantations and spices, Wayanad has become one of the favourite hubs for tourists. Surrounded by coffee and pepper plantations and paddy fields, "Ente Veedu" really transcends you to an ethereal world. An ecstatic and holistic experience from the rush and shrieks of routine. Located in an 80 year old estate, "my own home" Ente Veedu combines the legacy of Wayanad farming culture.

We visited during COVID times with a family of 10 and had a beautiful and safe experience here. The hostess, Seetha Aunty, and her Co-hosts were all extremely hospitable doing plenty of justice to the name, 'Ente Veedu'. A special mention to ALL the food prepared and served to us, it was exceptionally good and of the local cuisine. I would suggest not to look for other places to eat during your stay here. The entire house is very aesthetically maintained, is super clean, spacious and also has all the required functions as we would have at our homes despite being in a remote location. We also happened to have a medical requirement during our stay which was immediately attended to by the in-house doctor before visiting a hospital which was a great relief for us. Thanks, doc! This was a truly unique experience as compared to many other home stays that we have been to and I would recommend staying here for a few days to really take a break and relax. Note: As it is in a remote location, network connectivity is limited to a few areas. However, wifi sufficiently provided for our requirements.

Travel in the time of covid can be a very scary thought, especially if you have a child. But our stay at ente veedu was very much fun and relaxing. Overlooking lushious fields and greenery, the slight cold weather and ample space for the young ones to run around.....it was perfect. Like the name suggests, it's like going home and relaxing. They treated us like we were family. I have a 1.5 year old son. They even made sure he was taken care of we'll....from making sure his food was very minimal spiced to having his feeding bottle sterilized in boiling water and cow milk for him being ready. I felt that I was right at home. It's the best option for a getaway in these uncertain times. Everything was very clean and safe and gives you a chance to just relax

This was my second stay at Enteveedu, after the first one left a beautiful memory and urging me to come again. So this time, it was with 5 of my dear friends and the place did not disappoint at all !! The cottage was spacious and lively, the food was outstanding and the service levels by all there made you feel at home, where all your requests were taken care of with a generous dose of smile ! The location of the homestay in Wayanad is breathtaking and the overall experience was exceptional. Looking forward to visit this little gem very soon again.

I happened to come across Enteveedu because of the reviews. The place is nice, clean and rustic. It's a perfect place for a group of people who love home-stays and local experiences. Seetha and her staff are aways smiling, helpful and they keep in touch for the smallest of things one requires. Enteveedu overlooks a beautiful setting of lush green paddy fields and betel nut trees. It's almost like a tropical paradise during the rainy and cooler seasons. The host provides lovely home cooked meals - with her own versions of local Kerala Cuisine. She kept in touch with us before we even began the journey. And also stayed in touch later. We met Bibin a local naturalist / guide who came recommended by her. Bibin speaks good english and we had a lovely nature / spice garden walk with him through the village. And also enjoyed a challenging but wonderful trek to the Bramhagiri Hills. Enteveedu is really like its name which means 'My home' in Malayalam... the entire stay felt like that. It is totally value-for-money place, specially for people from cities looking for a great green getaway amidst the hills in the Wayanad district.

Room Tip: The higher floors have a better view. And the two largest rooms are the best.
