We decided to stay here because it was a Choice "Award Winner", Award for what?? As soon as we drove in, we knew this place was not for us. Obviously, it was a hotel for the homeless. Or at least it looked like one. There were people talking in the hallway well after midnight. Skimpy breakfast. We left early just to get out of there. Add $10.00/person to get breakfast elsewhere. This is an example of the deterioration of Choice. Do not stay here!
We got in at 8 at night--only to be told the elevator wasn't working and the only rooms available were on the third floor. No attempt to let us know earlier so that we could try looking elsewhere. Georgia summer heat, heavy suitcases, many flights of concrete stairs, and I have a bad hip. They "generously" offered to cancel the room, which would have left us trying to find somewhere else at that time of night. (The 800 number had an hour wait time.) The front desk person really didn't care. Apparently that hotel is so consistently lousy that she shrugs it off. Stay anywhere but here!!!!!
From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had rolled up to the Ritz! The staff was beyond kind, caring, competent and professional. The room and the entire building was spotless! It was like finding a diamond in the rough. I will stay at this hotel every time I go to visit my daughter in Lithia Springs. There might be a place closer to her but I don't care. My son and I were very impressed with our experience during our stay last weekend. A huge shout out to Reena (the GM) Rhonda (food) and Amber (night desk clerk) as well as the 2 gentleman taking care of the rooms!! Also, very comfortable rooms, great massage shower heads, did I mention SPOTLESS!! Delightful!
We stopped off here on our way to Myrtle Beach. Very nice & CLEAN hotel. We had our dog with us - they have a reasonable $25 pet fee, which we knew of ahead of time. We had a decent grab & Go breakfast in the morning before we got back on the road. The staff was extremely nice. Thanks for a GREAT night stay!
We stayed here recently on a visit to Six Flags over GA, and this is truly one of the best Choice hotels I've ever stayed in. Amber at the front desk was kind and courteous, even before we arrived, I called a few days before arrival and she answered all my questions, at check in she recommended a great bbq place, and was very helpful. Amber wasn't the only employee who went above and beyond. The breakfast lady, sorry didn't catch her name, was super friendly and helped us with ice machine. The pool was very relaxing, and I was proud during the pandemic to see all the measures they're taking to keep us safe. They limit number of people in pool to 10. I would also like to say I can tell the ownership here takes pride in their hotel. From the beautifully manicured landscaping all around property, to the fine details and smiling faces. I hope this helps you make a choice to stay here, there may be fancier places to stay, but this is the best value, and a short drive to Six Flags. …
This was great stay! We did use our points for a room and sure were happy. We were on the first floor which we really liked, right down from the breakfast area. The room was very nice, clean and with a large TV and great bedding. The breakfast was excellent and the breakfast gal was SUPER – the best we’ve had. So friendly and helpful. We’ll look forward to coming again.
It's a nice clean hotel and it's cheap, not much more to ask for given it was picked for location and price. Beds were ok, pillows ok, breakfast is ok. Nothing to write home about, but if you need a clean safe cheap spot, its good for that.
I was skeptical about booking the Comfort Inn due to some bad experiences with the Choice Hotel brand. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The staff were all super friendly, the rooms were very clean and bed comfortable. My only complaint were the small and uncomfortable pillows.
We had a lot going on this weekend and decided to stay in Douglasville bc close to 6 Flags. The rooms were clean and staff was friendly, especially Ronda who was in charge of getting breakfast together. She was a delight and started our mornings with very friendly greetings, pleasant small talk a d a smile. Thanks for a great stay!
Called ahead and spoke to Ashley, VERY helpful on the phone AND when we arrive. Helped us with our restaurant selection that night “ Gumbeaux’s “ which was awesome. Rooms were clean and roomy and the breakfast was the usual with everything a person could want !
