This is a very large property that is in need of a lot of help. I guess it is considered "budget" but we still spent $90 for the horror show that followed. The room was large and relatively clean, until we pulled back the sheets on one bed. Not sure how anyone missed the rather large, nasty smear on the inside of the sheets, but they did. The other bed was ok but for extremely rough sheets. Cigarette smoke from next door {ours was a "nonsmoking} infiltrated our room. All outside trash cans were full, stairwell was disgusting, and half the lamps did not work. The towels were tiny & thin. But we were tired, the water was hot, and the mexican restaurant across the street was excellent. oh and the view from the porch was nice. We showed the morning front desk person pictures of the

This hotel is old but was clean and we had a great view from our 2nd floor room. The rates were low...especially for a holiday weekend. The room was big and had a door to a shared deck with rocking chairs and a wonderful veiw of the GA mountains. The only thing that needs improvement is the continental breakfast. It consisted of coffee and frozen food and a microwave...not very appetizing. If you are looking for a low cost place to enjoy the area...this is it. There is also an antique mall right across the street.

So we visited this place again since it would be on our way on our summer road trip. It was a pleasant stay. I got a room in a different t building this time. But the view was equally great. Friendly staff, great breakfast and Wi-Fi..and not to mention huge, clean rooms.. We had a great time.

The last few times that I was in this area, I stayed in different motels in Clayton, GA (just a few miles south of Dillard). However, on our most recent visit, we found that the prices in Clayton were just too expensive. That was the first thing that sparked our interest the Knights Inn. After booking our stay online, we checked in at the hotel and were worried. The motel looked run down- our room was on the top flood and there were cobwebs all over the outdoor staircase. BUT, when we entered the room we were SO pleasantly surprised. The room was HUGE and had a breathtaking view of the Georgia Mountains. The bed was very comfortable (apart from the pillows that were small and lumpy), the bathroom was clean, and the wifi was very strong. One weird thing was that the balcony was

We stayed here for night in may. The rooms are clean and big and newly rennovated. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I hated to leave. We will be stopping by again Every time we drive through the area. P.S. - Morning views from our room was extremely beautiful.
