If you are looking for a place for a family gathering the Cabin at Long Mountain lodge is it. We reserved the cabin for my niece's wedding. But the best part was My son and daughter came down from Norfolk, VA with my grand baby. We had a wonderful time. The 3/BR-2/BR cabin had everything we needed, including privacy. It...

You will not go wrong with this B&B, great rooms and location, outstanding food, and truly the best of hosts. Be sure to ask Don (owners son and law) for hiking recommendations. Don't miss the library full of wonderful books and fun games on the first floor. Diane, thank you for your hospitality and sincere attention to every detail. We...

We celebrated our 26th anniversary here and it was a wonderful surprise! Everything was perfect from the cozy ambience of the lodge to the comfort and amenities of our room. Too bad it was too warm to make a fire but everything else was great. Breakfast was really awesome. The first day it was a fluffy omelet with homemade english...

Diane made our aniversary stay a special. Our chosen room was her smallest but was clean & nice. The breakfast where 5 star was served at 9 am which is good for most but a late start for some. It is just a short drive to the great small town, wineries or some nice hikes (Diane provides maps to locations)....

Let me preface by saying that I usually don't like B&Bs. I don't like feeling like I'm intruding on someone's personal home. I also like my privacy and don't want to worry about thin walls. First of all, the Long Mountain Lodge was built specifically to be a B&B (and the owners don't live in the Lodge), so the layout...

The Long Mountain house in Dahlonega, GA is a great place for a short weekend getaway. The lodge is situated a short distance from the quaint little town square with plenty of unique restaurants and shops. The lodge is situated on top of a large hill up a narrow road and is secluded. It is very quiet and surrounded by...

Read the other reviews, they say it all. Helpful, friendly owners, great breakfasts, great location for exploring Dahlonega and the surrounding wineries. Very comfortable rooms and a well laid out property. Lots of little touches make this place special.
