Long Mountain Lodge is a place to savor- from its many gorgeous views to its gourmet breakfast. This tastefully appointed B & B will satisfy every whim. Step out onto the porch - and plan to spend at least an hour gazing out at amazing views of mountains, water, and wildlife. Our room was a generous size - with a... More

Diane made our aniversary stay a special. Our chosen room was her smallest but was clean & nice. The breakfast where 5 star was served at 9 am which is good for most but a late start for some. It is just a short drive to the great small town, wineries or some nice hikes (Diane provides maps to locations).... More

The past reviews give you great insight into the innkeepers attention to detail and that provides you with the reasons why it is so highly rated. I have to share a secret with out TripAdvisor friends - In addition to the lodge there is a cabin that is great if you need additional room. I was looking for a location... More

Let me preface by saying that I usually don't like B&Bs. I don't like feeling like I'm intruding on someone's personal home. I also like my privacy and don't want to worry about thin walls. First of all, the Long Mountain Lodge was built specifically to be a B&B (and the owners don't live in the Lodge), so the layout... More

The Long Mountain house in Dahlonega, GA is a great place for a short weekend getaway. The lodge is situated a short distance from the quaint little town square with plenty of unique restaurants and shops. The lodge is situated on top of a large hill up a narrow road and is secluded. It is very quiet and surrounded by... More

Read the other reviews, they say it all. Helpful, friendly owners, great breakfasts, great location for exploring Dahlonega and the surrounding wineries. Very comfortable rooms and a well laid out property. Lots of little touches make this place special.

Lovely setting, warm and comfortable and fabulous breakfasts!! Diane is so accommodating...full of ideas for exploring this wonderful area. The wineries we visited were great, but some closed on Mondays. Lots of great hikes and waterfalls ,not enough time. Can't wait to come back!

This was out first bed and breakfast trip and we were overly pleased. It was not what I expected. You get so much more for the money than staying at a standard cabin or lodge. Great room, service, food, and lodge all together. Very easy to book and very accommodating.

Wow, I don't even know where to start...Long Mountain Lodge was amazing!!! We rented out the majority of the rooms at the B&B and then one of the cabins for our wedding party for our New Years Eve wedding, and I can't say enough how amazing the stay was for us all! The B&B was so quaint and lovely! We... More
