President's Day created a 3 day weekend and we felt we had earned a short Getaway from Atlanta outside the perimeter. Avoiding the interstates, we took a leisurely drive through North Atlanta into Cherokee County and used back roads to visit Amicalola Falls State Park. The park was crowded, but beautiful in the early Spring sunshine. Lunch at the park...

We enjoyed a brief stay at Cedar House. Fred and Mary Beth were kind hosts who struck a wonderful balance between attentiveness and respect for our privacy. We had a downstairs room with a patio that was quite comfortable. The breakfast was really good! Thank you for such a lovely time!

We had a short weekend getaway with a one night stay at the Cedar House Inn. Mary Beth and Fred were very friendly and made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. The room was clean and warm (perfect for a cold winter night). Breakfast the next morning was delicious and we made friends and had a great conversation with...

We just spent two nights in one of the Yurts, which was nice and warm despite the lows being in the high twenties. Fred and Mary Beth are fast friends and offer great hospitality and a delicious breakfast. Looking forward to our next visit!

We spent just one night at the Cedar House Inn, but had a great time. We were met by Fred and Mary Beth when we arrived. Both were most wonderful hosts. The Inn was built with loving care. Our room was very well done with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast the next morning was incredible. Mary Beth had the best...

Spent two nights here in December. This is a cozy place with a completely vegetarian breakfast menu. If you are looking for high end luxury, you may be disappointed, but for the price this is a comfortable and convenient spot to sleep while in the Dahlonega area. I was attracted to their yurts, but was afraid to book one during...

We went to spend New Years eve in Dahlonega, and stayed 2 nights at this B&B. It was perfect in every way. The hosts, Mary Beth and Fred were delightful, and made us feel like welcome guests in their home. The rooms were comfortable, as were the common areas, where my husband and I, and the other couple we traveled...

I was frantically trying to find a last minute getaway from Atlanta and chanced upon this gem. Cedar House Inn is an easy commute and full of character- close to a cute town of southern character, a number of wineries, and beautiful hiking. The best part was the people. Mary Beth and Fred are so genuine and welcoming, and put...

This was a surprise get away trip for me arranged by my dear spouse and he couldn't have found a more perfect fit! Our hosts Mary Beth and Fred made us feel welcome and at home. Very quickly we felt as if we were visiting with old friends! We love the philosophy of their Inn and their open love and...

My husband and I came down to Dahlonega for a wedding and without any solid chain hotel options in the area, we chose Cedar House Inn. I did some research on the town, and being an interracial, liberal couple from MD we were a little concerned with staying in an unfamiliar town in the deep south. So when I saw...
