My husband and I stayed at Forrest Hills for our anniversary the weekend of August 3, 2012. I left a very detailed customer survey when we checked out and since the management at Forrest Hills made no effort to contact me to discuss my concerns or make retribution; I decided to write a review on Trip Advisor. To me, their...

We stayed in a cabin and truly loved the privacy. The rooms were clean and well laid out. We did have trouble with the coffee pot, which they quickly exchanged. The staff were friendly and helpful. I walked through the conference center and the rooms adjoining. WOW was I empressed! I am considering have our family reunion there in the...

Wanted to stay for a wedding until they stated 2 night minimum at 200-250 per night. We stated we didn't want to make a weekend of it, only one night. After much back and forth, they agreed to one night in the $150 range. I felt they were really trying to take advantage of the wedding guest. While we had...

I loved this place! My husband and I stayed in a private cabin with a jacuzzi. We made use of the free movie rentals while the jacuzzi warmed up. The room was in excellent shape and very clean. We also took some great anniversary pictures at the gazebo and gardens.

I found the website for Forrest Hills online while searching for a place to spend a relaxing anniversary with my husband. The luxury cabins looked clean and comfortable online, so I decided to take a chance and book it for 4 days and 3 nights. We took our time getting there and the drive was nice. As we got closer,...

We found Forrest Hills Resort online, had no knowledge about it or what to expect when we arrived. Upon arrival we were greeted by Jason at the office. He quickly had us enroute to our cabin. I originally reserved a rustic cabin, but had a complimentary upgrade to the luxury cabin. The WOW factor was in full effect as the lights...

We looked at many spots for our honeymoon, and I can say we were completely satisfied with our choice of Forrest Hills. We especially loved the chuck wagon dinner with the resort owner, made our trip feel special and personal at the same time.

From the reviews and pictures we thought it was going to be nice. Pro's: Location in mountains, close to town, quiet and easy to get to. Staff was very helpful and the food was excelent. Con's: Rooms not very clean. Over one inch of moth's in light fixture. Shower didn' work, cabins need a good coat of paint and rust...

If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, this is not what you want. If you are looking for a rustic, quiet place to unwind with good food, I would recommend it. My wife and I stayed in one of the B&B rooms as they call it. The room was clean, everything worked, the garden tub was great. The...

Loved the quiteness, the cabins are spaced far enough apart I still felt secluded. This stay, we stayed in luxury cabin w/king bed. Previous stay was in a rustic cabin. Both stays we had the breakfast included. Both times, breakfast was quiet; no noisy crowds; other visitors were pleasant & quiet; food was great; tasted fresh versus other places. I...
