Lovely hotel, a block from the square in Dahlonega GA. Nice rooms and friendly staff. Great shower, water pressure could be a little better but it is a historic building. Good amenities in the room. Furnishings are beautiful. We were not there for lunch but hear it's amazing. Wish they offered breakfast as well. Definitely would return. Thanks!

We stayed at The Chestatee Villas, just across the parking area from the main Hotel. Our villa had two bedroom suites each with a full bath; a full kitchen and a living room, and windows everywhere. Since the villas are on the top floor, there are some stairs to climb yet we had a great view of the town from...

Our impromptu family reunion was accommodated in the Smith house and the Thomas house which is a part of the complex. Best beds ever and top notch service. We were just sorry that the restaurant was not open during our stay.

It was mom's birthday, so we surprised her with a trip to the Smith House for lunch. We arrived around noon on a Thursday. Not very crowded until around 12:30. The food arrived hot and plentiful. The okra and mashed taters were the best. Fried chicken and roast beef were superb. The strawberry shortcake was delicious. Mom licked her plate...

Recently we had dinner at Smith House and have been going there over 20 years. The meals are served family style while sitting at a table of "strangers" to the area. By the end of the meal you have met some very nice people and talk is nonstop. Food has always been good, especially the fried chicken and fried okra....

The very polite and professional young man who checked us in (Josh) went above and beyond; he is a great ambassador for the place, and gave five star customer service. He went out of his way to patiently accommodate some of our requests, and then told us not to hesitate to contact him again if we needed anything else. We...

I stayed here overnight (1 night) wanting to be close to The Crimson Moon Cafe/Live venue. GREAT location. Nice staff, really nice older house. Very light breakfast but with plenty of other breakfast options within a short walk.

Loved being right on the square in Dahlonega, one of our favorite places! Spent a couple of nights in the "luxury suite" over the weekend. It was smaller than it looked on the internet, but nice. It had a very comfortable king-sized bed that was so high off the ground I almost bought a footstool at the General Store to...
