We had an excellent experience here (which set the bar high for all the subsequent visits). Blake guided us through our tasting on the patio/wine garden and was most engaging and helpful. Then we had lunch on the porch and also had excellent service and food. I did not want to leave! There is also a nice gift shop on the premises. If I were to go back to this region this is the one location I would repeat.
Our stay was awesome! Came for a girls weekend. Amazing location close to several vineyards. The staff here was incredible and made our time so enjoyable. Atmosphere was relaxing and fun. Loved the wine garden and the onsite restaurant. Will definitely be back!
We enjoyed this beautiful place and the peaceful setting. The rooms and facility were very clean and newly renovated and decorated. Loved the room and view. Host Angela was great. We would definitely visit again. Very quiet and peaceful.
Dahlonega Resort and Winery is a beautiful peaceful setting. We enjoyed that we never had to leave the property. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast, went for a great hike, we sat and enjoyed the view from the rocking chairs. The bed was comfortable and cozy. The service was great.
This was a very disappointing stay. We stayed here several times in the past under different management. They no longer have a concierge in the hotel. It’s extremely loud. They no longer serve breakfast as part of your stay. The restaurant was closed most of the time we were here. The gift shop closes at 5 PM so make sure you bring enough water and snacks as you won’t be able to purchase anything here on the premises. We got virtually zero sleep the entire time we were here due to the thin walls and people partying outside until 2 AM. With no staff here at night, there is nobody to ask for assistance from regarding the noise or even security issues. This place used to be very relaxing and quiet. We used to enjoy coming here to get away from Atlanta and have some peace and quiet. The entire weekend was extremely loud and our room was lit up most of the night due to the outdoor lighting and no curtains. The restaurant used to be open for most meals and there used to be a front desk person who was extremely helpful and friendly. That is gone now. It’s all remote to check in. We called the customer service number a few times and did not get an answer. Unless things change significantly, I can no longer recommend this place and I won’t be staying here anymore. It’s very sad because I had fond memories of the place in the past…
