We stayed here for a wedding that was taking place at one of the local wineries. The property has a lot of potential, but they just need to improve some things to justify the price. We stayed in the West Wing, which was very convenient to the Main House. The carpet in our room

Great location in the GA mountians and an easy drive from Athens or Atlanta. Lots of wineries in the area and Dahlonega is a cute town to explore. Dahlonega Spa Resort offers great spa services and onsite yoga. I enjoyed the 24hr hot tub and relaxing location and resort grounds

Nice contemporary rooms, very relaxing spartan room. We enjoyed playing music on the front porch. Porch chairs were more comfortable than the inside chairs. We do plan on returning in the future. The restaurant was not open during our visit.

Reviews seem to be really good or really bad. Beds are luxurious, beds are like rocks. Rooms are clean, spa is disgusting. Can anyone tell me how the place currently is from a recent stay? And whether I should book a cabin or room in the main house? I would be going with my mom for a knitting and yoga retreat. Thanks for your help!
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, cabins are pet friendly and the grounds are gorgeous.
