Rates are high for a low level hotel. My husband is 6'5" so I only book KING beds. We were shown our room with a queen, were given a $50 credit for inconvenience. But upon going to bed the sheets had blood stains plus a spot I don't want to identify..ick! My husband decided to sleep on the pull out... More

The hotel location is in walking distance to everything in town. Lynette showed us to our room. She made sure we were comfortable. Our room had victorian style furniture with crown molding though out the rooms. We are looking forward to staying there longer next year.

My husband and I stayed at this property for a wedding in the area. The rate was extremely high for the value received. The only advantage to the property is the location. The walls are paper thin and we listened to our neighbors scream and fight until 300 am. The previous night, someone was ill all night. The "office" closes... More

We stayed in Dahlonega for my best friends wedding last week, and The Park Place Hotel made it memorable. It's central to everything that's great about this small town, the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. They even lit a bonfire for us after our rehearsal dinner, which was held on the picturesque front yard. We plan on adding Dahlonega... More

I am not sure why the hotel has a three star rating as it was lacking the features found in two star hotels. The condition of the room was a bit worn. Having amenities such as a lobby with coffee and breakfast would have been great. The staff were helpful but are only around during the day. When we arrived... More

Wonderful hotel with a B and B feel and an amazing staff in a wonderful location near the campus of UNG. I have stayed twice while visiting my son at UNG and just had a great experience. Most everything I need is in walking distance and the rooms are fabulous! I even left some expensive makeup in my room and... More

Last minute reservation. Staff was wonderful and very helpful. Great location within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Cleaning staff should have more supervision since everything was not replenished but I would surely stay here again. Great location!

Convenient to the square where all the shops are located. Personnel very helpful and friendly. Clean and comfortable. The bed needs new mattress. No included breakfast, but did have complimentary Starbucks in the room.

We've been staying in this lovely little hotel for years and couldn't love it more if we tried! The staff is very friendly and extremely accommodating. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds. They're fully renovated with modern amenities (internet, tiled shower, TV) and an eclectic mix of antique and modern furniture. We love the location, right on the town... More

Do you like - -old fashioned toilets that clog so often that plungers are provided in every room as part of the decor? -searching for an ironing board, only to find it lying under the bed? -a "Jacuzzi" tub that sounds like a jet engine and looks like class 6 rapids? -having no table or desk to eat or work... Bertha, We are so sorry that you didn't enjoy your time at our establishment. We recently renovated the room you stayed in less than 2 months ago.
