Lovely and quaint hotel but very overpriced for such a small town. We were visiting family so were not there to see Swamp Gravy which I understand is well worth the trip. Some confusion over room availability and we were moved a couple of times and quoted the wrong price . The manager did meet us half way but Inn...

We were celebrating my Mother's 90th Birthday and wanted to do something special for her without taking her out of town. The family had a special presentation at her church that Sunday and needed to be local. The Kimbrel Bush house was great. The five bedrooms accommodated us perfectly. The common area was great since we stayed up until 2:30...

I have been eating at this restaurant for at least 10 years and I have never received a bad meal! Never have I ever been to a restaurant that many times and received food that good every single time! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Very friendly staff, very nice accommodations, lovely old renovated hotel. We travel the back roads and enjoy staying in unique places and this certainly qualifies. Had an issue with TV, and owner promptly appeared and corrected. Unfortunately couldn't do anything about noisy AC, but we were able to deal with it ok. Only real complaint is the breakfast...or lack thereof....

We have been going to the Tarrer Inn for over ten years but things have changed. They use to have a buffet at lunch that was wonderful and have change to a menu which is ok sort of. What really surprised us was the breakfast box cereal, banana and a store bought danish. For a bed and Breakfast I could not...

I grew up in Colquitt and this is REAL Southern cooking. Their buffet is world renown for people coming to see the folk life play, Swamp Gravy. Just taste their fried chicken and banana pudding, umm ummm good! My son always asks me to take home a gallon of their sweet tea! For a real taste of the South, eat...

This was the best buffet I have ever had, all homemade and delicious. I would recommend this meal to anyone in the area. We are looking forward to returning in Dec. for another great meal. Staff super friendly and helpful

I would have liked to had the chance to stay here, but they don't return phone calls or emails. Called on a Monday, no answer. Sent a email later that day, no reply. Called back on Tuesday morning , no answer. 10 minutes later they call me back to tell me that the "reservation lady" is off till Wed and...

I have joined friends in Bainbridge, GA and eaten at the Tarrer Inn many times over the years, most recently in March 2015. Good Southern Cuisine and fine service. Buffet has many excellent choices on Sunday's.

Good experience. Rooms are large, antiques are very nice, balcony was relaxing, staff were very attentive and sweet. The breakfast was average - eggs, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy. Not much to do in the town - sidewalks roll up at 5 on weekdays, 1 on Saturday, so go there with intent to relax. We did do a 70 mile trip...

“My room was very quiet and cozy. It had a king-size bed, chair for sitting, desk and chair for working, and a nice bathroom.”

“Room 5 was reserved, but they were servicing when arrived so assigned rm 2 which had a nice view but a constant beeping fire alarm, so was moved to rm 7 which was very nice but no view - wall of building next door.”

“Except for the front rooms that look out over the square, the rest of the rooms don't really have much of a view. This is normal for an 'on the square' B&B. I stayed on both sides of the building and found that the rooms were quiet so worry about noise should not be a problem.”
