Stayed for one night on business , really nice , friendly staff , very nice interior features , great value for money for being so close to Aberdeen where the hotels are generally quite expensive. Definately one to go back too. Room had a river view which was very pleasant .

We spent a few days here for a work conference and were pleasantly surprised by the overall standard of the hotel. Rooms are large and the beds are great. Highlight was the staff who were exceptionally friendly and diligent. Highly recommended for a short stay in Aberdeen.

There were 14 of us most of the time with more the night of the wedding. ALL members of staff were exceptional. I hope the owners know how lucky they are to have...

We had a fabulous stay at this lovely when visiting family in the area . The setting was lovely but a car is essential as it is quite remote. The history of the hotel is fascinating, it being a knights Templar hospital in the 11th century. The staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was...

Used for an overnight business trip. Room was warm and reasonably well equipped. Decent en suite albeit that the shower took a little bit of time to adjust to the right temperature. I stayed in this hotel for two nights when in Aberdeen for work, the hotel is very quaint in a lovely rural location backing onto the river. My room was of a good size and had French doors opening onto the grounds. Breakfast is of a good selection with freshly cooked food.
