Pros: clean, updated decor, well-managed, nice continental breakfast including cereal and milk, juice, toast, sweet roll, coffee but no sausage and eggs. No interior halls--park car right outside your room. We had a first floor room, thankfully. Cons: older motel. Outside of some doors could use some paint.

When we entered room there was a heavy cleaning products scent, and my boyfriend smelled old cigarette smoke even though we were told it was nonsmoking at checkin. We thought about asking Liz to switch rooms but we assumed they were all probably like that. I am sensitive to smells so I was only able to sleep 4 hrs and had a headache in the morning. He slept fine.

We are a travel agency that provided business hotel - They (and CHOICE) have chosen to ignore us and not pay us the money they have owed us for more than a year. Travel Agencies depend on the commissions we are owed for booking hotel rooms. When an individual hotel and their brand simply ignores what they owe, it is a terrible statement. We have reached out to CHOICE and Management at this property more than a dozen times. Would this hotel wait over ONE YEAR for money owed to them? Terrible.

This was a last minute booking, as we were on a camping trip, but the weather forecast made us decide to get a hotel for the rainy night. Most everything in the town was booked, and we didn't have a lot of choices. The reviews looked good so we decided to try it. It was very pleasant. The hotel is back off the main road with a lovely lawn and drive up to the hotel. The staff was professional and accommodating. The room had been updated with current colors and bed covers. The room was very clean. The bathroom was also very clean. The toilet worked, it just was a slow flusher. There was a portable night stand that worked well. We had lots of USB and outlets available for all our devices. The hotel does have outside entrances to the rooms, but we were on the second floor and were not concerned. Our room was on the back side and it was very quiet. The only concern we had was that two parking lot lights on the backside were not turned on. The hotel walkways and such had adequate lighting though. The front of the hotel is set back enough from the road, that I'm guessing it is pretty quiet too. Since it was Covid time, we did not see any the lobby or have breakfast so we cannot comment on that. The pool looked good, but we didn't use it.
