It starts with the road leading to our cabin. We were prepared for non-paved gravel, but, the cavernous holes and partially impassable roads were our first clue to the lack of maintenance. So much was in a state of neglect inside the cabin that we cut our trip short. A mouse that ran across the floor, darting under the fridge... More

We have been staying at this place for 16 yrs. They have rustic and newer cabins to choose from. We have stayed at several different ones and always enjoyed each one. Very peaceful and relaxing. Gorgeous views and family owned. Very cozy place to just sit back by the fire and enjoy the mtns.

Although Blue Ridge was awesome the cabin stay was not.. Way over priced for what you get... Hot tube temp would not go lower than 105... The refrigerator makes a loud noise.. The road getting there is horrible with pot holes.. Not sure how cars can get down the road.. Musty smell and very dusty.. No view whatsoever.. You would... More

We have had the pleasure of meeting friends from Atlanta here for several years. We have stayed in several of the cabins and always enjoy our stay. The cabins are spacious, clean, and welcoming. Can't beat a hot tub in the room while football is on, either!

Handicap friendly in some cabins. Always clean.friendly staff.clean hot tubs that are indoors and very private for you and your partner. Roads leading up to cabins need work...unpaved...some are washed out and an adventure to drive on but if you are looking for a getaway it's a very enjoyable place.

Got a recommendation to stay here from a co-worker. Pictures on web site made it look nice. When we got there there were cobs all over, door did not close well, blinds filthy, brick by hot tub uneven so sprained ankle waiting to happen. Wash clothes and towels old and grungy looking. Had ordered the fruit and wine basket but... More

We stayed for an Anniversary weekend getaway in the Talona cabin (a rustic cabin) and I would, and will, recommend The Last Resort to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing get-a-way. The Last Resort is about 5-10 minutes from Main Street, but it is far enough away to remain quiet. Joe in the office is so nice and great to... More

This place is just what the doctor ordered! Peace, relaxation and privacy. We stayed in the rustic style cabin called "Mistletoe". Although it did not have a mountain view, it sat up so high we felt like we were in a tree house. Keep in mind it is a "rustic" cabin which means it is not perfect and sparkling new... More
