We stayed at one of the off site cabins called Berry Riester. When we first walked into the cabin at sunset our jaws dropped from the view. The cabin was floating off the side of a mountain on stilts. As soon as you walk in you get an unobstructed panorama of the mountains with a gorgeous sunset. It was the most magical view I have ever seen, and the best view I have ever had on a vacation rental. The back of the cabin has a 360 degree wrap around screened in porch overlooking the beautiful mountain view. We spent hours on the rocking chairs just taking in the mountains and hearing the birds. Everything in the cabin was complete luxury form the bed sheets, to the towels, to the stylish and fully stocked kitchen. There were games and netflix, but the really special amenity was the guide. They had a million things you could do in blairsville, and they would even drop you off at the trail heads from your off site cabin! The in-laws said it was the best vacation spot they had ever stayed at, so the beauty is sure to impress the boomer generation as well. The best part of the cabin was the peace, nature, and tranquility. We will always remember gathering around our private campfire on the side of the cabin just taking in family and the majestic mountains in front of us.…
My wife had a business meeting at Misty Mountain. What a great location for a small group meeting. The place is beautiful. The cottages are inviting and the owners are very nice. This is a must stay place if you are in the Union/Towns county area.
I love this place. Craig is so helpful, you need hiking, kayaking, things to do, area expertise, this is where you go. In my travels I've never had such a great person to hide me in the local areas. Many cabins to choose from. Highly recommend.
I spent an amazing few days at Misty Mountain Inn & Cottages in the Rose Cottage. We were here for a reunion of friends. The cottage was charming! My partner and I had everything we needed to cook a meal, or kick back and relax. The property was amazing with little treasures waiting to be found, from a face on a tree to an angel near the bridge or a stone bunny in the bushes. Patty and Pappy were super friendly and Craig was extra knowledgeable about where to dine, hike, fish or see awesome views. This is my new go to vacation place to escape the FL heat and crowds!
We scheduled our visit to coincide with the art fest but realized as the weekend approached we would be met with quite a bit of rain. We went anyway and were so happy we did! Patty and David aka Pappy were the perennial hosts and artists were showing off their wares throughout the inn. Our cabin was delightful and the fellowship recharging. I sat on the porch and photographed birds capturing one of my best shots ever of a green back heron catching a salamander for his own lunch. A delightful time and place to visit!
