Vogel is a beautiful park with a lovely lake and plenty of places to take walks and hike. We stayed here for three days on the first really busy "big" weekend of this season and the campground was sold out. Despite the crush of people the staff maintained a very helpful and positive attitude. I would be happy to go...

We stayed at one of the walk-in sites (A-Q). My goal when picking a site is privacy and I was pleasantly surprised at how many of the walk-in sites are relatively private (as good as you can get for a state park campground). We stayed at site D, which was up on a hill away from other sites. Site H...

We had the best stay at Vogel. Our camp site on the creek was perfect! The bathroom was extremely clean and close. The sound of the creek at night was soothing. The park was beautiful and everyone was so friendly. We can't wait to come back!

Stayed here for 4 nights tent camping. It was clean, safe, well lit, has a great lake to swim in or fish in. Putt putt, play grounds for the kids. 10 miles from Blairsville, GA for supplies. Bathrooms were clean and well lit. Encountered zero bears. Dog Friendly. Everyone was so nice.

Was a great place to camp lots of places to hike. The sites are very big and easy to back camper into. The only down on the camp sites is no dump hook up. Would go again. The bath room where not bad for a older bath room. The hike to the falls on the end of camp grounds was...

We camped at Vogel for 5 days at the end of March/beginning of April. On our first day the weather was mild (low 70's) but the temperature quickly began to drop as the sun went down. Day 2 we woke up to temps in the 40's and it got up to mid 70's but it rained all day and continued...

Not far from Blairsville's center you'll find this nature haven. Lots of wild ducks to watch and feed and nice walk around the lake. Near by you can go to Helen which has a Bavarian theme or Blood Mt. for great mountain hiking

We are from south Florida and needed a quick escape. We choose a cabin at Vogel and couldn't be happier with our decision. It was a rainy getaway but we had a nice wood burning fireplace, new flat screen tv and the sounds of wolf creek outside our window. We spent one day hiking blood mountain and it was amazing!...

This is a very scenic and wooded campground. We spent two nights here while visiting Brasstown Bald, the highest point in Georgia. This is a very popular state park so one must reserve early. We will definitely return and stay longer.
