The place has fabulous employees! The continental breakfast was wonderful! The employees worked so hard getting our car. I did not particularly like our room. It was extremely small, the floors were uneven, but it is an old building and I am sure that they were trying to preserve the rich old history of this place. The bathroom toilet was...

Greetings Brenda C, What a lovely review and we are so happy that you loved your stay, including the breakfast, the location and the staff. High praise indeed. We recognize that the rooms and bathrooms are on the smaller side by today's standards, but the charm of the building really makes up for it in our opinion. The rooms are...

Great location. Very nice staff. Cozy, antique type feel. But, but, but, the hotel rooms do need some TLC. Especially the bathrooms. See photos. Sofa was stained upon arrival. Staff took care of stain next day. We stayed in one of the bigger King rooms, with balcony access.) Breakfast included was a muffin, juice and coffee on the balcony, nice...

We thank you for your review, and are so glad you truly enjoyed the special feel of the Park Plaza Hotel during your stay. We agree that just being in Winter Park and enjoying looking out over the avenue as you enjoy your Continental Breakfast is very special. We are in the midst of room renovations, and the couch that...

The hotel itself was beautifully unique, filled with antiques and old world charm. The elevator was also antique and very small. The bathrooms are so small that the toilet is nearly under the edge of the sink. Situated on Park Avenue, it is surrounded by shopping opportunities and indoor/outdoor restaurants and bars which also made it very, very loud at...

Good Afternoon Remnant007, We thank you for taking the time to write a review, and are so glad that you truly savored the old time charm and uniqueness of the Park Plaza Hotel and the surrounding location. On the other hand we were shocked to learn that you had to suffer through such a noisy night on the avenue, We...

My husband and I experienced a thoroughly enjoyable night's stay at the Park Plaza. We were greeted by exceptionally friendly staff who seemed genuinely interested in making our stay as enjoyable as possible. Our 2nd floor room overlooked Park Avenue where we sat on the balcony and sipped complimentary wine. In the morning, we were treated to coffee, juice and...

Loved staying at the Park Plaza right on Park Avenue with all the shopping, restaurants, art galleries, sidewalk cafes and wine bars. All the Christmas lights were lit along the streets and in the park. Many people were strolling along Park Avenue and enjoying all of it.

I went to visit my son that lives in Winter Park. Normally, I stay at his home but his place was under renovation. There are not too many hotels to choose from in Winter Park, so I decided on this one. The location can't be beat if you want to be in walking distance of some nifty restaurants and unique...

We just spent two nights at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. Originally built in 1922 the hotel is very attractive, comfortable and charming with a lovely plant-filled balcony that feels private even though it's not and is a great place to enjoy the complimentary muffin/coffee/juice breakfast that is brought to your room every morning. The location of the...

We enjoyed a quaint visit to Winter Park with a lovely stay at the Park Plaza. Pis was most helpful in directing to a beautiful jog around town. The path she suggested went by the water and some old florida estates. Just breath taking. Pia seemed to know and love that area which matched the charm of this old Hotel....

Pros - Great downtown location, walk to everything; pleasant, helpful staff; comfortable bed; clean rooms; you can "imagine" the coziness "back in the day" Cons - Noisy, trains go past and loudly blow notices THROUGHOUT the day and night. One previous reviewer noted this and the reply was it was due to a train accident. Stayed for several days and...
