This was so gross. I was awoken to roaches crawling across my face as I slept. When I went to wash my face, about 15 roaches scattered when I turned on the bathroom light. Employees where notified by phone immediately and didn't appear to be surprised nor concerned. Upon my requests for a refund, I was told at check out management would contact me via phone the next day. That was a Wednesday and that call never happened, it's now Sunday. I'll be attempting to collect a refund again tomorrow.

Very outdated. Pics are misleading. Hasn't been updated since the 80s. Rooms are dirty, they just vaccum but it's still dirty. Saw a bug in the bed. There were hairs in the sink when we arrived. The free Breakfast is just automatic made pancakes.

The rooms smell like mold there is black mold in the room. The housekeeper doesnt clean. Mexican girl in front counter is very rude. And the poor girl working front desk in the morning should not be working, im a nurse and could tell right off the bat she has covid, her eyes are all swollen, she was coughing up a lung, sneezing and her nose was stuffy, she lost her voice. Its very dangerous to have an employee with covid working front desk not only explosing all the workers to it but also guest, kids and elderly stay here. And you can get very sick from the black mold

When reserving a room, they quote you a price, however, the price varies on a daily basis and they add additional charges. Also, beware - there is a daily pet fee rate. When you ask for service, you are ignored.

Excellent hotel!! Nicely renovated, spotless very friendly staff!! Have stayed in many Wyndam hotels this one was by the best!! I have zero complaints and was beyond grateful to learn they had a generator, so when they list power in the middle if the night we did not even notice because our AC WAS STILL ON !!! THANK YOU!! Job well done HoJo of winterhaven!!

This stay was for work purposes. I only stayed 2 nights but every morning we'll before check out someone knocked at my room door and when they didn't get an answer they tap a key card and try to just walk in on me. Tried to tell front desk and they didn't care nor do anything. If you are traveling alone please protect yourself

I'd rather stay at a Hotel 6 than HJ ever again. The photos make the property and amenities look better than reality. Lukewarm "hot" water, and the breakfast was a pancake machine, a juice machine, yogurt and bananas.

We enjoyed our stay! We checked in and DiMayra (front desk) offered us a perfect room to accommodate our fur baby. This hotel is older but very nice. There are no elevators! The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Easy access and restaurants and shopping. The pool is big and very well maintained and there is a large lawn for walking pets. We have stayed there before and will do so again. Access to the hotel’s side entrance requires a room key for added security.

The room we were given smelled of mold, there were stains on the sheets, burns in the blankets, and at least one cockroach who ran out of the ac when turned on. We did not stay and checked out immediately after seeing the room.
