I recently stayed at the Edgewater Hotel and plan to return soon. It was such a pleasure to step back in time and enjoy this historic treasure. Don't expect super high speed internet, big flat screen TVs, or modern baths but do expect comfortable, clean...More
Stayed here 3 nights in January of 2015. Polite and friendly staff, multiple rooms to choose from, vintage hotel in great location to food, and wine bar. Wine bar across the street is great, quiet atmosphere. Nice, safe area for families and couples.
The Edgewater Hotel, which is a b&b is unique, exceptional and characteristic. The website is quite accurate, the 1920's hotel has been historically restored but adds a few extras such as tv, internet and air conditioning. The rooms were nicely decorated, clean, had plenty of...More

We usually lock our bikes inside our vehicle. The staff at the hotel is very accommodating so I'm sure they would be more than willing to help you bring them upstairs. The West Orange Trail is one of our favorite trails and downtown Winter Garden is beautiful with many fine restaurants and shops. Check out the Plant St Market and don't miss the Farmers Market on Saturday. Also take an evening stroll down to Lake Apopka.
Winter Garden, and the hotel are 13 miles from central Orlando. However the Orlando airport is probably 10 miles to the southeast of central Orlando, so my best guess is that it is 25-30 miles from the airport.
