We spent one night here on a trip along the east coast of Florida. This place is amazing - so unique, quirky, beautiful. With numerous rooms and suites to cater for everyone. The on-site bar/pub/restaurant was perfect for one night, for beers and food, with friendly staff and good grub! The views of Vero Beach were stunning. Our room had...

Well, this isn't your typical timeshare resort. Dating back to the 30's this place is pure old Florida. Located on the beach there are 4 building, 2 old and 2 new ( 1980's new). Two pools and a very very active bar, that is packed with locals nearly every day. Music on Sundays and at least three other nights. Food...

This review is based on rooms in Building A. I believe there are better units available so make sure you are not staying in building A. Unit has a kitchenette, no stove. Bedroom is jammed into a closet sized box. Unit is very dated and smells musty. You have to climb over the bed to get out. I'm not very...

The Driftwood was a very different place to say the least. What makes it special are the owners who go there. Some of them have been going for years and years the same week and they all know each other. They were very nice and invited my husband and I to their Happy Hour. We were there right after the...

This historical site was awesome. Everything we needed was in walking distance., the beach, restaurants, shopping. It was so enjoyable. The nearby restaurants and local eateries were amazing. We had a huge room and awesome view of the ocean with 2 pools to choose from and the best restaurant right at the Driftwood. We will be back!

Took a long weekend in August 2016. It was around a four hour drive. Didn't have reservations anywhere, drove by this resort, it caught our eye and decided to check to see if they have a room available. Very rustic, old school resort. They did have a room, right on the Atlantic Ocean. It was a nice room, clean, little...

The resort overlooks the ocean, just steps from the beach. You couldn't ask for a better view and is ideal for a fabulous getaway. The Driftwood is on the National Historic Registry and has been well taken care of. The rooms are remodeled and very comfortable. Great pools, impeccable grounds and very friendly staff. Waldo's bar and restaurant on site...

One of the best things about the Driftwood, is that it is right on the beach! This place is older, but takes you back in time! We stayed in one of the cottages, so it was great to have our own little place with kitchen, living room and a bedroom with kingsize bed and a jacuzzi tub. My granddaughter and...
